It brings excellent opportunities and also poses challenges to steel structural delivery enterprises. Joining the WTO, Chinese construction enterprises face the international competition in the market. Large-scale foreign construction contractors have its own advantages when involving in the international market, such as mature project management experience and advanced technique of construction organization. Therefore, the domestic construction enterprises should delicate to improve both the technique and especially their project management in order to cope with international counterparts. Project management is first applied to project construction. Deadline, quality, cost of the project management serve as the three major objectives, and scheduling management of the project is the content and also the soul. In view of this, project scheduling management seems to be particularly important for the steel structural construction enterprises.The Southern Building Company Of The Second Bureau Of China Construction is a large-scale state-owned enterprise. In recent years, with the fierce competition and decreased profit in the construction market, the company sees a slow economic benefit, one of the reasons is: its contract project has many problems in the construction scheduling management. In this context, I choose the Hitachi Construction Project as a study object and aim to find a scientific method for project scheduling management which is suitable to a large-scale steel structure construction project through research and application of the project scheduling management theory in specific projects.Firstly, this article presents background of the chosen topic and its significance for studying, summarizes the literature, analyzes the present situation of project scheduling management in the Southern Building Company Of The Second Bureau Of China Construction, and then points out its problems which exist in the project scheduling management.Secondly, the scheduling management plan of the Hitachi steel structure project was formulated, regarding these questions, combining characters of the Hitachi steel structure project, exerting project progress management, agile management and the critical chain theory. And then, to optimize the plan, carry out specific steps. Lastly, following up the scheduling of implementing this plan, and launching an objective assessment, finding out its difficulties in the scheduling of operation, at the same time, some solutions also are brought out.The project scheduling management program has achieved fairly good effects in its development and implementation, and also has reached the intended target with good economic results. In this way, the scheduling of the project management is really successful. Through the study, I hope that the scheduling of the project management will be used as reference for construction enterprises in the scheduling of the project management, and help them approach or reach international advanced level. In the future market, improving overall competitive ability by elevating the management level of the scheduling of projects so that market share of our construction enterprises can be increased in the field of construction delivery, Meanwhile, the economic efficiency and profits of the contracted project also can be improved. |
