The automobile market is becoming more and more competitive.The most critical approach,which is agreed by the main OEMs,is to improve brand competitiveness from fast self-developed new products.Generally,the lifecycle of an automobile product is 3-5 years after it goes on the market.There is a strong timing requirement for the product launching.Once the automobile project is established,clear and specific time nodes are set and there will be no possibility of change.Automobile R&D contains many critical paths concurrently,and each path is interrelated.But differences in time control leads to bottleneck.If not handled properly,it is likely to block multi-path development,and even project delays,resulting in incalculable losses.In account of the problems,this paper takes M automobile project R&D as the object.Applies CCPM technology in the project R&D schedule plan to solve the problem of project schedule management based on resource constraints.In this paper,the key chain technology is applied in detail,the heuristic algorithm is used to calculate the key chain,and the risk elasticity coefficient method to determine the buffer in each link.Finally,the real-time dynamic management of the whole project schedule is achieved by establishing the buffer management mechanism.This paper designs and demonstrates the project schedule of M automobile through the critical chain technology.It not only optimizes the project schedule,but also considers the resource constraints,human behavior factors and related risk factors.The risk of project progress is absorbed through the setting of buffer zone.The technology improves the efficiency of research and development progress.So far,there is no application case of critical chain technology in automobile R&D projects,so this study has practical significance.The main innovation of this paper is to apply the key chain technology to the schedule management of automotive projects,and optimize the design of key chain,the establishment and management of buffer zone,which can significantly optimize the control link of automotive R&D and shorten the construction period.The design of critical chain is realized by means of project tools.The design of buffer zone adopts innovative risk elasticity coefficient method.Humanistic factors and time elasticity requirements of innovative work are considered in the design of buffer zone size,which makes the project plan more in line with the actual requirements of automobile R&D.The management of the buffer zone has completely designed a set of management processes to make the project development operable.
