Study On The Methods Of Chinese RNAV Route And Sid Star Procedure Design

Aera Navigation(RNAV) is a navigation mode that enable airplane to operate in any defined or proper route.It's easy to establish direct route,parallel route and bypass route,enhance navigation accuracy. It's the key part of CNS/ATM.In the latest years,people in China or abroad have done much reaserch on RNAV.Some airports has began to implement RNAV.In 20 years,FAA will translate to RNP procedure completely.And in 2010, RNP procedures are mandatory in all TMAs in Europe.This article study the RNAV procedures design criteria,method and implement in China and abroad more generally for the first time.Introducing the basic character of RNAV and the actuality and development plan of RNAV procedure design in China and abroad, indicating the developing trend of RNAV in the furture . Analyzing the RNAV procedure design methods. Emphasizing the special concept, standard in RNAV procedure design according to FAA order 8260.48 RNAV STAR procedure design and analyzing the design methods of typical phases,include departure phase,instrument arrival,instrument approach,holding and enroute.At last using Tianjin airport and Lhasa airport as examples to discuss the compositive factors in the design in more detail.Introducing enroute RNAV procedure design methods,ideas and the examples abroad.At the same time,designed a simple RNAV procedure to fly from Chendu airport to Lijing airport and made a simulating experiment on PCATD...
