Safe, reliable, accurate and standardized flight check is one of the most basic prerequisite of airport route open and running, and it is an important prerequisite for the safe operation of civil aviation. Currently, the flight inspection is mainly depend on real flying flight inspection verification, which has many issues, such as too many sorties, route complexity, high pressure of flight safety, high technical requirements, high validation expensive, and the contradiction between flight inspection and airport capacity saturation. Therefore, research on the virtual flight inspection simulation system is necessary to assist the real flight check, and to help solve the above problems.RNAV navigation related concepts and standards of flight calibration are studied, the completed work is divided into three parts. First, the ground signal of RNAV navigation devices is studied. Based on navigation equipment- ILS, VOR and DME, the antenna array modeling and simulation, far-field radiation patterns analysis of navigation equipment, the coverage of the navigation signals calculation, and so on. Then, the verification signal and signal processing analysis of the airborne receiver were studied, including the process of spatial signal reception and processing, calculating navigation signals to obtain the final desired. The impact of the reflected signal on the instrument landing system navigation signals, and the error tolerance determination is mainly focused. Finally, based on World Wind, platform, a three-dimensional visualization of the flight inspection procedures, and modeling and calibration simulation of airport lighting system is established, navigation instruments and signal analysis synchronous display module were developed. Combine with the flight simulation, the virtual flight inspection system of RNAV navigation equipment is accomplished. This system is a supplementary to the actual flight inspection of navigation equipment.
