As the aviation industry has a fast rapid growth in recently years, the increase of aircraft and flight flow has make the domestic airspace capacity reached its limit. As the flight procedure is the key factor that affects the capacity of the terminal area, higher standard in the operation efficiency and accuracy has been a must. Although the designers can use AutoCAD for the design, it requires a lot of man work also. So an automatic design system will help the designers improve their work efficiency and make the designer work more precise and accurate.The main research object of this paper is to design a set of flight procedure design system, which could decode the flight procedure in the ARINC424 format and transform them into graphics with both the trajectory part and the protect area part. Combing the coding sample and relevant air chart, the coding pattern of instrument flight procedure will be analyzed. By analyzing the exact behavior of each path terminator and associated parameters, an algorithm is designed to generate the geometry graphic which contains the trajectory and protection area according to the ARINC424 coding. The algorithm is implemented with C#, and with the second development interface of AutoCAD and Google Earth, the trajectory and protection area will be outputted to AutoCAD in 2D graphic and to Google Earth in 3D model.
