Along with the current domestic secondary school education vigorous developing,the internal space of middle school has a series of problems about the Space effect istoo single, Function of ontology is overweight, lack of adequate facilities. Students ishard to comprehensive development in such a teaching building. This paper is basedon the reflections on these problem, as4secondary school buildings in Xiamen cityfor example, trying to find out spatial factors can active students extracurricularactivities. And also take the relevance of campus building space and student activitiesas a core problem.Based on reflections of these problems of the status quo, taking four representativeteaching building of the middle school in Xiamen as the examples, this paper makesan analysis of the relationship between the spatial difference of the teaching buildingand actions and activities, trying to find out the spatial factors activating theenvironment of the teaching building.The paper first summarizes the research background of campus space and behaviorexpounding the main problems of space and behavior, and builds up the researchframe of space and behavior on the base of literature review and relevant theoreticalresearches. Taking use of the method from relevant authoritative literature, we make athree-dimension division for the case of the teaching building–from the aspects ofentity, part and the specific. On the base of the preliminary research, we dividestudents’ after-school activities into three parts: school attending and school leaving,transference for teaching, and daily activities during playtime. Afterwards, we matchthe area of the different dimension with students’ after-school activitiescorrespondingly, and make a comprehensive analysis. Based on the analysis of thespatial difference of students streamline, spontaneous activity point, activity typeactivity indexes such as specific effects. Ultimately restrict activities related teachingbuilding within the space factors, the method in this paper, on the improvement of thecampus building space late advice.
