With the developing of higher education in our country,the construction of university buildings in many regions of the country makes the development of teaching buildings in colleges enter into a new situation.Modern teaching buildings in the colleges have more rich useful functions and attach much more importance to create communicating inner and study environment because the original teaching buildings can’t meet with the requirement of space of teachers and students.The functions’ expand of modern teaching buildings are the depth of the original teaching buildings and are obvious development on the basis of development of the colleges,and increasing requirements of students.Under the foundation of deeper functions of teaching buildings,space of communicating,self-studying,displaying and auxiliary space is more and more applied into traffic space of teaching buildings.These public space is increasing in terms of scale,and covering rate and is gained broad research.As the increase of teaching buildings in the colleges,it has much difficulty in improving the internal quality of buildings if we just study a space.This paper proposes concept of redundant space,integrates the public space between inner space of teaching buildings and traffic space of the Yangtze River Delta and deeply analyzes each redundant traffic space to summarize different kind of space to achieve the effect of thoroughly using space and remedying the blank of integrated study.Redundant space expresses a deep humanized design and its shape would be influenced by actions as well.With the changing of the connotation of higher quality education,modern society attaches more importance to cultivate comprehensive,compound and creative talents,and the society also needs the talents who have good team spirit,and great communicating skills.Through analyzing actions from teachers and students of universities,this paper summarizes their requirements of space,theiractivities and features.And under the filed research on the teaching buildings in the Yangtze River Delta,this paper makes further study the relationship between actions of teachers and students and forms of space to express the situations of using different functions’ redundant space in different places and then make a further guidance for redundant traffic space.The design principle and method of redundant space of teaching buildings in the colleges,through analyzing the common situation and application of the redundant space,summarizes the principles of human design,rationalization of space layout,the space stability and cultural principles and then puts forward method of reasonable organization space sequence design by integrating redundant space.According to reasonable design principles of space,it proposes the design method of improving space environment.In order to activating inner space of buildings,it puts forward the method of transforming forms of space.To enhance the spatial dimension of the buildings,it proposes the design method of emphasizing space forms.To meet with different space requirements from different people,it proposes the method of deepening design of splitting.To highlight unique features of teaching buildings and heritage of culture,it proposes the method of strengthening spatial interface texture. |
