The blended learning design allows online teaching and offline teaching to complement and promote each other,thereby optimizing the teaching process and enhancing the teaching effect.In the context of vigorous promotion of educational informationizat,the blended learning model has gradually entered the perspective of educators,and many domestic experts have begun to keen on the research of the blended learning model.However,there are few cases of the application in secondary vocational colleges,especially there are precious few teaching cases that integrate the blended learning model and flipped classroom in the automotive major that focuses on practical skills development and improve problem solving ability.After a large number of literature reviews,the paper clarifies the background and significance of the research on the blended learning model,introduces the definition,the research status,the theoretical basis of the blended learning model,and explains the basic idea of the "flip classroom".After the investigation of the initial learning conditions and status,the paper analyze the initial ability of the teaching objects and find the suitable teaching strategies.After the analysis of the nature,content and teaching objectives of the course "Inspection and Repair of Automobile Engine Management System" in the motor vehicle engineering major in secondary vocational colleges,the paper refer to the existing research results of blended learning based on the "cloud class" online teaching platform and "six-step teaching method" to build a framework of blended teaching for secondary vocational colleges,and on the basis of this framework developed online and offline teaching curriculum design,teaching resources,and applied teaching practice of the "Inspection and Repair of Automobile Engine Management System" course.The comparative analysis method was applied to analyze and evaluate the teaching effect of the blended learning model.The questionnaire method was applied to comprhend student's satisfaction for the application of blended learning.After all,the paper summarized on the practical application of blended learning,extracted experience,and put forward the suggestions.
