The present paper deals with a comprehensive taxonomic research of Salticidae from Hainan Island, China in genus grade for the first time, new species and new record species are described. The content consists of two parts as follows: the general account and the systematic account.The general account introduces status and system of classification, morphological characters, distribution and biology of Salticidae and physicalgeography in Hainan Island in detail.In the systematic account, the key of 43 genera of Salticidae was compiled, the characteristic and diagnosis of 43 genera were described, and the species and the distribution were acquired, in account 43 genera 86 species. One species was described as the delegate for each genus and 43 morphological characters. For some species without specimens in hand, the illustrations for that were copied from other authors. Besides, 4 new species and 2 new recorded genera, 2 new recorded species and 3 new discovery of female were described.All of the specimens are deposited in the Museum of Hebei University (MHBU).
