Taxonomic Study On Genera Of The Family Lycosidae From China (Arachnida: Araneae)

The present paper deals with a comprehensive taxonomic research of Lycosidae from China (Arachnida: Lycosidae) in genus grade. The content consists of two parts as follows: the general account and the systematic account.The general account introduces status and system of classification, morphological characters, biology and distribution of Lycosidae in China in detail. In addition, the key of 20 genera of Lycosidae was compiled.In the systematic account, the characteristic and diagnosis of 20 genera were described, the species and the distributions were acquired. Among these species, 9 species are new to science. Besides, 5 species are recorded for the first time from China. One species and illustrations was chosen to be a delegate for each genus. Otherwise, the illustrations were copied from other authors for that genus without specimens in hand.
