The present paper deals with a comprehensive taxonomic research of two newgenera Corusca gen. nov. and Insula gen. nov.(Araneae, Salticidae) from HainanIsland, China. The contents consist of four parts as follows: the general account,systematics, result and discussion, illustration.Part Ⅰ deals with the introduction to the two new genera, and thiermorphological characters, taxonomic system, material and mathods. distributions ofthe jumping spiders and the physical geography in Hainan Island, China are given.Part Ⅱ includes the descriptions and measurements of the20new species, vtz.Corusca acris sp. nov.(male), C. bawangensis sp. nov.(male), C. falcata sp. nov.(male), C. gracilis sp. nov.(male and female), C. jianfengensis sp. nov.(male andfemale), C. sanyaensis sp. nov.(male and female), C. setifera sp. nov.(male andfemale), C. viriosa sp. nov.(male and female), C. wuzhishanensis sp. nov.(male andfemale), Insula curva sp. nov.(male and female), I. hebetata sp. nov.(male andfemale), I. limuensis sp. nov.(male and female), I. longa sp. nov.(male and female), I.minuta sp. nov.(male and female), I. nigricula sp. nov.(male and female), I. ramosasp. nov.(male and female), I. scutata sp. nov.(male and female), I. squamata sp. nov.(male and female), I. tumida sp. nov.(male and female), I. uncinata sp. nov.(maleand female). The males of two known species, Corusca liaoi (Peng&Li,2006) andInsula maculata (Peng&Kim,1997), which are transferred from Eupoa, are reportedfor the first time. Detailed morphological characteristics and illustrations arepresented. Description of new genera, etymology, diagnosis and distribition are given.Part Ⅲ summarizes the results of the taxonomic study on genera Corusca gen.nov. and Insula gen. nov..Part Ⅳ contains characteristic illustrations and ecological photos of collectingplaces.All of the specimens examined are deposited in Institute of Zoology, ChineseAcademy of Sciences (IZCAS).
