Taxonomic Study On The Spiders Of The Family Salticidae (Arachnida: Araneae) From The Gaoligong Mountains

The present dissertation deals with the taxonomic study of the spiders of the family Salticidae (Arachnida:Araneae) from the Gaoligong Mountains. Four parts are included:Part I deals with the introduction to the Family Salticidae, and its morphology and taxonomy. The introduction to the Gaoligong Mountains is also supllied.Part II is a detailed study of 66 species belonging to 28 genera. Collection information of all species, etymology, detailed description, measurements, comparision to the relative species of 36 species are present.Part III includes conclusions and discussions.36 new species named as:Bavia sinoamerica sp. nov.
