The Comparison Study On Chinese And American Physical Teaching Material For Engineering

Excellent teaching material is one of the important conditions for training talented men. In the 21st century, a batch of characteristic mainstream teaching material has emerged. The new scene of contention of various schools of thoughts has been displayed in the teaching material marketplace. In the increasing international communication, domestic educators are paying more attention to referring to the successful experience which is acquired from the construction of American teaching material. The feature which is worth referring in the American teaching material has been found by comparing the teaching materials between Physics (5th edition) compiled by Ma Wenwei and fundamentals of physics (6th edition) compiled by Halliday. At last, based on the results of investigation and interview, some suggestions have been made which are maybe helpful for the ordinary institutes to compile the teaching material.
