As a new teaching philosophy, teaching methods, teaching mode, research-based teaching is an innovative solution for a series of problems that exist in Chinese traditional teaching and is an inevitable requirement of the current high quality talents training and the development of the innovation-oriented country.It is the hot and focus of Reform of Higher Education. In recent years, the higher education sector for research-based teaching has been extensively studied. some research universities and higher normal colleges have carried out teaching practice. From the autumn of 2007,H University began to implement research-based teaching and research project had several groups of experimental teaching courses.In the spring semester of 2012, it had a comprehensive reform of research within the school teaching.Research-based teaching in the school engaged in full swing, but what was the result? This is our greatest concern. Therefore,scientific and rational analysis and evaluation of research-based teaching is of important theoretical and practical significance to propose countermeasures and suggestions on improving the quality of teaching.In this paper, the discussion of the effective implementation of research-based teaching are both from the theoretical and practical aspects. In theory, we introduced the essential connotation of research-based teaching respectively from the "teaching" of research-based teaching and the "learning" of research-based teaching; We investigated research-based teaching basic situation and compared the differences in student learning time in class, speaking on the situation class, students final grade, teacher-student interaction and assessment forms, student satisfaction with teaching effectiveness between research-based teaching and non-research-based teaching. So we draw that research teaching has many certain advantages in teaching content, teaching methods and teaching effectiveness. Therefor research-based teaching should be promoted. Besides, In practice research section, For teachers and students to conduct effective research-based teaching practice, we analyze and evaluate teachers’teaching effectiveness and students’ learning effects through the use of multivariate statistical analysis method -factor analysis and cluster analysis method. We not only clearly know strengths and weaknesses of teachers and students, but also inform the main factors affecting teaching effectiveness of teachers and students learning effects. Besides we provide a number of methods and recommendations for research-based teaching reform.
