| This thesis was mainly based on the summing-up report according to 2500 numbers seed plants which were collected, identified and researched when the author was doing scientific investigation in the Jiufeng Scenic spot, Zunhua City of Hebei Province.Since Sep. 2005 to May 2007, the statistic results showed that there were 465 species (including subspecies taxa), 251 genera and 69 families in this region. The flora includes 3 species of gymnosperm belonging to 3 genera and 3 families, as well as 463 species of angiosperm belonging to 249 genera and 67 families. Among the 69 families in the Jiufeng Mountain, there are 8 dominate families composed of 15 species, totally 132 species, 259 genera. There are 10 dominant genera and 3 species composed of 35 species. There are only 4 families that composed of one genera, altogether 31 families in the spot illustrated its complexity in composition of plant in some degree. There are 143 one genera, there are 84 depauperate families in this district , this results illustrated its complexity in distribution and its age-old evolution.According to the approach about the division of life form by Drude, through the shape, appearance, life style of seed plants, there are 344 species of herbaceous plant in the region, the number is prominent. It was less woody plant, there are 121 species of woody plant That is the distinguishing feature of vegetations in the north temperate region.On the base of the opinion of Professor Wu Zheng-yi (1991, 2003) about the range of distribution types of genera of China seed plants, the 251 genera in the region fall into 15 types. Among them, 173 species, 316 genera are of north temperate region in their distribution, the type takes the first position in the 15 ones. The total 43 genera, 56 species belong to tropic types and show distinctive north temperate region.According to their utilization, resource plants may be grouped into 2 categories: those used as raw materials and those used as non raw materials. Based on the investigation, Jiufeng Mountain has 198 species of non raw material resource plants (this derived from the sum of the number of plants according to their utilization). There are 171 species of flower plants, 24 species for soil-improving plants and 3 species first-grade State protection plants. The raw material resource plants are divided onto 13 categories.In the addenda, the list of seed plants, 72 reference literatures are additive. The thesis includes 2 figures, 8 tables and 1 plate.
