The Analysis And Prospect In Relativity And Its College Physics Teaching

In 1905, Einstein published five epoch-making significance paper successively, whichmade the important contribution for the foundation for the theory of relativity establishmentand the development of the quantum theory. For commemorating this miracle of 100thanniversary, the United Nations 58th congress passed that the year 2005 was chosen as theWorld Year of Physics(WYP) by acclamation in June 10, 2004.WYP aimed to raise the worldwide awareness of physics and physical science. In thisbackground, the author chooses this topic to study.In the first chapter, it analyzes the background of establishing the theory of relativity. Inthe second chapter, it analyzes the process of establishing the theory of relativity. In the thirdchapter, it analyzes the domestic(two parts including engineering course teaching material andliberal arts teaching material) and foreign newest popular university physics teaching material.In the fourth chapter, it analyzes the opinion and the feeling of the students (includingengineering course students and bilingual students) through the questionnaire way. At the endof the article, the author describes the prospect of relativity teaching of college physics infuture.
