With the rapid development of national economic construction,in order to achieve the two centenary goals,it is are urgently needed on a large number of high-quality skilled personnel in every post.However,with the large-scale enrollment expansion of college entrance examination,the overall quality of students in higher vocational colleges has declined,and the foundation in mathematical is generally weak.Students' weak mathematical knowledge has seriously affected their professional courses,follow-up courses and lifelong learning ability,and formed a vicious circle,seriously hindering the healthy and normal development of Higher Vocational colleges,and seriously affecting the quality of personnel training in Higher Vocational colleges.In view of the difficulties of higher vocational students in mathematics learning,it is necessary to carry out effective teaching reform of higher mathematics.First of all,we should correctly find out the causes of students' learning difficulties in Higher Vocational colleges,and correctly understand the characteristics of students' mathematics learning,the characteristics of teachers' teaching methods and the requirements of Higher Vocational Colleges for mathematics teaching.On this basis,comprehensive consideration of various ways and means to carry out teaching reform,to solve the mathematics learning difficulties of students in Higher Vocational colleges.This paper studies the relevant literature on learning difficulties at home and abroad.Starting from thelearning and the teaching,interviews and questionnaires are conducted to the students of Hebei Vocational College of Geolegy.The comprehensive analysis shows that there are two main reasons for students' learning difficulties in Higher Mathematics in Higher Vocational colleges: students' own reasons and teaching reasons.Students' own reasons include: poor foundation,lack of self-confidence;low interest in mathematics learning,unclear learning motivation.Teaching aspects include: too much theoretical proof of textbook content;dull teaching methods and methods,lack of vividness;slow updating of teaching concepts of Nun vocational mathematics teachers;high school teachers do not attach importance to communication with students;incomplete examination and evaluation methods.On the basis of the study of the relevant information at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.This includes: helping students correct their attitudes towards mathematics learning,enhancing their self-confidence in mathematics learning,developing good habits of mathematics learning and using correct methods of mathematics learning.At the same time,teachers are required to correct their teaching attitude,change the teaching mode of higher mathematics,improve the teaching methods of higher mathematics.Through these measures,we can improve the basic quality of students,enhance the vitality of higher mathematics,cultivate thinking habits,use a variety of teaching methods,cultivate innovative consciousness,and change students' learning outlook.Practice has been carried out in the teaching of Engineering Survey and Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry at Grade 17 of Hebei Vocational College of Geolegy.The feedback from interviews and questionnaires is positive and affirms the reform.It is hoped that through the reform of the curriculum of higher mathematics as an opportunity,we can improve the quality of students' study in school as a whole and bring more high-quality talents to the country.
