This degree paper will elaborates on the relations between the new curriculum reformation of basic education on biology and the harmonious development of higher teacher's education of biology in Guangxi. In June 2001, The Ministry of Education of China promulgated《Basic Educational Curriculum Reform Outline(Trial use)》. The new round of curriculum reformation was officially into the experimental stage. The new curriculum calls on the new type teachers. It raised the unprecedented claims and challenges to the teachers in the primary and middle school and the other education workers. The teacher's quality and their levels became the key to success or failure in the reformation. There were many ways to enhance the teachers'quality, but the most comprehensive and systematic way was to enhance the teacher's education. Therefore, under the background of the new curriculum reformation of basic education on biology, it had the important practical significance to study the reformation of the higher teacher's education of biology.In this paper, the theory basis of teacher's education is analyzed. It points out that the teacher's quality is really enhanced when the teacher's education is reformed through the teacher's specialization, the teacher's education.intergradations and the model theories in the teacher's education. are specialized trainedIn the paper, the information of basic education reformation and the challenge for the higher teacher's education of biology were analyzed. This will be prepared for setting up the relevant reformation .the higher teacher's education of biology.This paper is going to develop the setting up the relevant reformation .the higher teacher's education of biology .on the orientation and content on the current base so we must have an apprehensive understanding the current situation .Lat us first analysis the biological sciences major course ,the goal of training , specicification, curriculum structures ,teaching ways and methods in there colleges in guangxi .They are Guangxi Normal University ,Yulin Normal College and Hechi Normal Collge .We can get the results as followes:①T he model of 2+2 in Guangxi Normal University worthes spreading②The curriculum on edcation are not wide-ranging③The average study time is not sufficient④The teaching ways and methods are stressed on different points in different colleges On the point of teaching ways and methods ,we find that some teachers are still use the old method during the course of teaching They are unwilling to pay close attention to the forward position of the education reformation and the academic forward position .However , the enquiring study is the breakthough of basic education reformation .The teachers have to put highly enthusiasm into enquiring a series of teaching ways In order to teach students how to enquiring study ,the teachers must be models .If a college student wants to become a teacher in the future ,he has to enhance his own enquiring study ability .This paper invested biology major undergraduates on self-assessments of enquiring study .We can know the current situation of enquiring study ability, and have training in the light of this situation.. The results from the investigations and analysis were as follows.①"The Investigating questionnaire on the self-assessments for inquiry learning from the higher students of biology"was self-made, and it was more reliable and valid able. The self-assessments for inquiry learning consisted of the four factors through the inquiry elements analyzing. They were the inquiry methods, the inquiry skills, the inquiry knowledge, and the inquiry feeling, manner and values.②The average value of inquiry learning in the three higher normal universities was 3.6614 ,which is at a compareatitively high level . The average value of inquiry learning of biological specialty was 3.6100 and the value was lower than the average value. the abilities of inquiry learning were in a higher level. Among them, the self-assessments on inquiry feeling, manner and values were the highest, the ones on inquiry knowledge was came second and the ones on inquiry methods were the lowest. The average value on inquiry methods and skills were lower than the average level.③There is obvious difference in major on the self-assessments of enquiring study .The careers they will take to are varied .and does show obvious difference in nations and sex .The non-education students are prior to the education students. In Yulin Normal College and Hechi Normal College, the students who want to take to Scientific research are prior to those who want to take to the careers except being teachers and researching while there is no difference in choosing careers among the students in Guangxi Normal University.④There is not any difference in any traits among the students whose major are biological science teachingThis paper raises the new orientation and new content on the development of the setting up the relevant reformation in Guangxi .the higher teacher's education of biology to help the Higher teacher's education .to adapt the basic education and promote and guide the basic education ①Adjust the gold of training and the training model②reform the higher teacher's education curriculum③reform the teaching ways and methods④prominentIn the paper, the new direction and content on perfecting and building the information of higher teacher's education of biology in Guangxi were raised on the basis of the theories and investigation analysis. The aims were to promote the suiting of higher teacher's education with the basic education, and to promote and guide the information and development of basic education.①adjusting training aims and training models.②informing the curriculums and teaching of higher teacher's education.③stressing the characteristics of normal education and promoting the comprehensive development④promoting the system innovation in the higher normal university.,promote it comprehensive develop⑤promote the blaze new trails on the system in the colleges.The researching methods in the paper were the documentary, investigating and interview, comparing and analyzing methods .By referring to the books on the theory on the higher teacher's education ,the reformation of the basic education curriculum ,the quality of the biology teachers , the teacher's specialization ,the writer analysis the current situations in these aspects,problems and their interrelations.According to the problems higher teacher's education of biology in guangxi and the necessary to the China basic education ,develop the orientation and contents in the innovation of higher teacher's education of biology in Guangxi under the background of new curriculum guiding the higher teacher's education and the contents of the reformation of the biology basic education curriculum and basing on the innovation of higher eacher's education of biology in guangxi...
