In recent years, Preschool Education in China has received the unprecedented attentionand developed vigorously, which has provided an unprecedented good opportunities forPreschool Teacher Education. However, because of the university enrollment expansion, theconstitution of students in vocational schools is getting more and more complicated, whichresults in problems in Preschool Teacher Education, especially in the mathematics teaching.Based on some studies on the teaching of Mathematics of Preschool Teacher Education insecondary correspondence, this thesis expects to know the present situation, analyze thereasons, seek the countermeasures so as to improve teaching to a certain degree.The teaching situation has been investigated and researched in six schools in Handanarea through the questionnaire, interview and informal discussion. Survey results show thatthe school Mathematics curriculum standard has not changed for many years in Normalschool for kindergarteners though everything is changing such as the age, the theory ofeducation and the students. The teachers’ teaching showed too much randomness, while thestudents don’t have a good learning habit. The teachers’ teaching doesn’t match with thestudents’ learning. Teaching aims, teaching contents and teaching modes are not practical forstudents, not reflecting professional characteristics and education idea in the new period.This thesis will center on the problems above to seek countermeasures from thefollowing several aspects: first, the correct orientation of the teaching purpose. Work outdetailed, specific and complete teaching goal and requirements and put them into teachingpractice. Second, implementation of preparatory courses, make up for the different levels ofknowledge and enable students to master it well and to lay a solid foundation for the futurestudy. Third, implementation of transposition teaching, encourage students to participate inteaching between teachers and learners. Finally, guidance of learning case, make good use oflearning case to guide students to preview, review and develop a good study habits.Teaching practice proves that the teaching strategies mentioned above are effective inimproving students’ learning ability. After a term of teaching reform, many students are fondof math and they become more confident about themselves. Most of the students have already begun to listen to teachers carefully. Preview, review and finish the homework independently,preliminarily formed the good learning habits and enhanced self-taught ability. |
