| Species diversity, flora diversity and ecological diversity of the Myxomycetes in the Liaoning Province were studied systematically in this paper.In the research of species diversity, more than 400 specimens were collected, in which 90 species were identified, taking almost a third of the total number of Myxomycetes in China (340 species). They belong to 24 genera,8 families,5 orders, in which there are 34 new records of Liaoning Province. Detailed morphological descriptions and inventory of the Myxomycetes in the Liaoning Province were made. Voucher specimens were deposited in the Herbarium of the Mycological Institute, Jilin Agricultural University (HMJAU).The result of the flora diversity study indicated that, in the identified Myxomycetes belonging to Liaoning, there are 5 families that includes more than 5 species, total number of species is 83, occupying 92.9% of the total number of the Myxomycetes in the Liaoning Province. There are 5 genera that includes more than 5 species, total number of species is 54, Liaoning Province occupying 60% of the total number of the Myxomycetes in the Liaoning Province. According to the floristic elements, the world distribution species occupy a larger part of the total Myxomycetes in the Liaoning Province.When it comes to the ecological diversity of myxomycetes in Liaonian Province, researches were carried out on the relationship between myxomycetes diversity and the aspects of vegetation community, season, temperature and precipitation. Research on vegetation community showed a difference of myxomycetes diversity among three types of vegetation community. Myxomycetes diversity in the mixed forest is the richest. From the late July to early September in each year, the occurrence of fruiting body of myxomycetes is the highest, as well as the amount of specimens. The amount of species in early August is the largest. Precipitaion in July is the highest in each year, thus getting the largest amount of fruiting body of myxomycetes.
