After the reform and opening up,the speed of urban and rural transportation network construction in China has obviously accelerated,while the construction and development of the transportation network has a certain historicity which makes the current transportation network have many problems that cannot be ignored,such as "broken road" and "broken bridge" exist in the transportation network,some lines are overused functionally while some lines are being used inadequately,the disconnection of regional nodes in the network structure layout,etc.Many practical problems in the transportation network fully demonstrate the necessity and urgency of strengthening research on regional transportation networks.In view of this,this article takes Hubei Province as a case area,takes the main transportation forms in Hubei Province-land transportation network(high-speed railway,ordinary railway,expressway,national highway,provincial road,county-township road)as research object,and constructs a research framework of"process-pattem-mechanism-effect".From the perspective of time evolution and spatial pattern changing,this research combined GIS spatial analysis with fractal and complex networks methods to explore the long-term scale of land transportation network morphology,structure,function evolution process,driving mechanism,spatial linkage and spatial spillover effects in Hubei Province.Aim to provide theoretical and practical reference for the scientific layout of regional land transportation networks in Hubei Province.This article includes nine chapters.The first chapter is introduction which mainly introduces the realistic and theoretical background of the research,related research objectives,research methods,technical routes,and research area overview.Chapter two is the theoretical basis and research progress,which explains the definition and connotation of land transportation network and spatial spillover effects,and reviews the research progress in related fields at home and abroad.Chapter three is the morphological evolution characteristics of land transportation network in Hubei Province.Using the fractal theory and method,the weighted length-radius dimension,weighted network dimension,weighted correlation dimension and branching dimension are constructed respectively.The saturated form,coverage form,connection form,extended form and its evolution of the land transportation network in Hubei Province have been analyzed.Chapter four is the structural evolution characteristics of land transportation network in Hubei Province.Using the relevant theories and methods of graph theory,the land transportation network of Hubei Province is abstracted into a network system containing nodes and connections,and from the aspects of node connectivity,network connectivity,network agglomeration and network stability,the complexity and evolution of the transportation are network in Hubei Province are analyzed.Chapter five is the functional evolution characteristics of the land transportation network in Hubei Province.From the aspect of the distance and time accessibility of the transportation network,this chapter analyzed the time and distance accessibility between nodes,nodes and counties,counties.Then the author constructed a county-level traffic connection network by using the weighted travel time matrix between counties,which displays the functional evolution of the provincial land transport network.Chapter six is the analysis of the time and spatial evolution characteristics and driving force of the land transportation network in Hubei Province.In the past 30 years,the evolution process of Hubei's transportation network has been divided into three stages,And the evolution characteristics of different spatial types are analyzed from the differences of land transportation network,urban-rural,plain-mountain space.After considering the system self-organizing drive and Hetero-organization input response,the indicators are selected from within the transportation network system and from the outside,and the driving mechanism of the land transportation network evolution under the interaction of internal and external interactions is analyzed.Chapter seven is the spatial spillover effect of the land transportation network evolution in Hubei Province.Based on the classification of the regional transportation network,this chapter used the traditional Markov chain and spatial Markov chain to analyze the transportation network goodness changes of different types of counties and their neighboring counties to show the spatial linkage and spatial spillover effects in the evolution of land transport networks.Chapter nine is conclusion and outlook.This part puts forward the main conclusions,on this basis,points out the innovation,shortage of research and future prospects.The land transportation network in Hubei Province has generally presented a key layout,slowly improving-Tackling difficulties and climbing,steadily improving-quantity and quality emphasized simultaneously,leap-forward improving.From the perspective of morphology evolution.The land transportation network in Hubei Province has fractal characteristics,but it has scale and space constraints and hierarchical structure differences,and the form is becoming more mature with time and the structure is becoming more and better.From the perspective of structural evolution.The structure of land transportation network in Hubei Province has evolved from simple to complex,from disorder to ordered,and the stability has been continuously enhanced.The internal structure is concentrated in the Jianghan Plain area with Wuhan as the core,and forms a nearly A-shaped pattern with Wuhan as the apex.At the same time,low-grade lines are widely distributed around high-level lines,and are significantly concentrated along the highways,which have the strongest control ability for the land transportation network in Hubei Province.From the perspective of functional evolution.The function of land transportation network in Hubei Province has been continuously improved,and the time-space cost of network connection has decreased significantly.At the same time,the status of connection between cities in the provinces has been highlighted by key cities.Wuhan is the first-level center,Xiangyang and Yichang are the second-level centers.The hierarchical characteristics of the land transportation network are regionally differentiated.The layout of high-grade lines such as highways and high-speed railways has profoundly affected the regional contact capacity in the province,and has greatly improved the traffic accessibility in the province,causing strong spatial disturbances.From the perspective of spatial pattern,the layout of the land transportation network in Hubei Province shows a more obvious spatial differentiation between regions,rural-urban,plains-mountains.However,with the development of the network,its layout has increasingly broken through the limitations of terrain and waters,and expanded to the details of geographical space.The short-range connection has gradually increased,regional differences have gradually narrowed,and spatial convergence has become apparent.From the perspective of the drive mechanism.The evolution of land transportation network in Hubei Province shows the interaction process of internal system organization transformation and external factor input response.The internal evolution presented a process from "quantity" to "quality",while for the external aspect,geography,population layout,transportation innovation and economic development alternate dominance dominated the influence alternately.From the perspective of space spillover.The evolution of land transportation network in Hubei Province has obvious directionality,and its own change is basically consistent with the direction of change of adjacent units.At the same time,the spatial spillover effect is closely related to the spatial background.When the research units are adjacent to high levels,the probability of positive overflow is significantly higher than that of the adjacent low-level cells.The construction of transportation network has a time lag as well.
