Since the the reform and open policy,especially after entering the new century,China’s economy has developed rapidly,creating world-renowned economic growth.The rapid development of urbanization under the economic system reform has also caused the gap between urban and rural development to expand.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,China has shifted from a rich country strategy to a strong country strategy.It has become a general trend to promote urbanization with county towns as an important carrier and promote the development of urban-rural integration.Located in the central part of Hubei Province,Hanchuan City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Xiaogan City.It is a county town adjacent to Wuhan in the Wuhan Urban Agglomeration.The overall urbanization of the county is in a rapid development stage,and the economic and social development levels of the towns within the county vary,The level of internal urbanization varies greatly,and there is a large gap between urban and rural development.The expansion of construction land is the most obvious spatial feature of urbanization,and its expansion effect is one of the key indicators to measure the level of urbanization.The article starts with the expansion of construction land in Hanchuan City.First,by calculating the expansion speed,expansion speed and expansion direction of construction land,it analyzes the expansion characteristics of construction land in Hanchuan City from the county scale and township scale,and summarizes its expansion model;Partial least squares regression,geographic detectors and other methods study the driving factors that affect the expansion and spatial differences of construction land,reveal the core driving force that affects the expansion of construction land,and finally use the gray prediction model GM(1,1)and cellular automata The model(CA)simulates the future expansion trend of construction land in Hanchuan City,analyzes the simulation results,and provides policy recommendations for realizing the development of county urbanization in Hanchuan City and reducing the development gap between towns and towns.The main conclusions of the article are as follows:(1)Expansion characteristics of construction land:From 2005 to 2018,the overall expansion speed and expansion intensity of Hanchuan City’s counties showed an "up-decline-up-decline" "M" trend change,and the center of gravity of construction land shifted to the northeast.The offset distance keeps shrinking;there are spatial differences in the expansion of construction land in various towns in Hanchuan,and the spatial differences gradually become larger.According to the expansion speed and intensity,the expansion is fast,slow,and insignificant;during the study period,the expansion of construction land in Hanchuan is manifested in two modes:line development and infilling.(2)Driving force for expansion of construction land:The expansion of overall construction land in Hanchuan city is affected by multi-scale and multi-level driving forces.The expansion of construction land and economic development are in a state of weak decoupling.Real estate development investment,secondary industry added value,per capita disposable income of urban residents,and total retail sales of consumer goods are the core driving forces at the economic level.Urbanization rate and population density are social levels.As the core driving force,the correlation between the intensity of regional economic connections and the changes in construction land is becoming stronger;population density,non-agricultural population,average industrial output value,and regional economic connections are the core driving factors for the spatial differences in the expansion of construction land in various towns in Hanchuan.The effects of different factors are spatially differentiated,and the combined effects of multiple factors enhance the interpretation of the spatial differences in construction land used in towns and villages.(3)Construction land expansion simulation and suggestions:use the CA cellular automaton model to simulate the future construction land expansion of Hanchuan City under the action of core driving factors.The kappa coefficient is 0.87 and the model accuracy is high.The results show that the development space of construction land in various townships in the future has become larger.The hot spots for construction land development are concentrated in the Fairy Mountain Street Office,Ma’an Township,Xinhe Town,and the cold spots are concentrated in the western Xinyan Town,Zhongzhou Farm,and Hanji Township.Combining the development status of various towns and towns in Hanchuan City,from Promote the overall development of the county and realize the balanced development of the towns and villages in the agglomeration,and put forward suggestions for the development of Hanchuan City.
