As the most important "energy basin" in China,the Yellow River Basin supports the supply of many kinds of primary energy,thermal power and also many intermediate products of coal,oil and natural gas,such as coke,clean coal,liquefied natural gas,petroleum coke,etc.It not only supports the need of the national social and economic development,but also ensures the growing energy demand and national energy security in all regions.High intensity of energy production,processing,utilization and consumption aggravate the overload capacity level of resources and environment,as well as the tight water supply situation in the Yellow River Basin.With the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin becoming a major national strategy,how to clarify the coupling and coordination relations between the energy systems,including the energy production,consumption,and energy industrial chain structure,and environment systems from the perspective of industrial chain,and how to analyze the key links and elements objectively,quantitatively and scientifically,are the important topics of promoting the development of energy industry in the Yellow River Basin,carrying out the national major strategy of "ecological protection and highquality development of the Yellow River" as well as ensuring the national energy security.This paper focuses on the key issues of "the coupling & coordination relationship and key elements between energy production,consumption,industrial chain structure and regional resources and environment".The main work and contribution of this paper are:(1)The multi-source heterogeneous data sets of multi-dimensional resource degradation,environment impact factor,energy production and consumption at all stages of the energy industry chain of nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin were constructed,and the present situation and trend of resource degradation,environment impact,energy production and consumption in each province are systematically analyzed.The data about water resource and environment,atmospheric environment,solid waste etc.of each province from 2011 to 2017 are analyzed and summarized.The total carbon emission of each province was calculated.Based on the annual energy balance sheet data of the whole country and the provinces,the production and consumption trends of primary energy,thermal power generation and thermal power production,coal-made products,petroleum products and liquefied natural gas products in the provinces and regions are analyzed,as well as their proportions in the whole country.Then the multi-source heterogeneous data sets of multi-dimensional resource and environment influencing factors,energy production and consumption factors in 9 provinces and regions were constructed.That provides objective basis and data support for the study of energy,resources and environment in the Yellow River basin.(2)A systematic analysis framework for the production,consumption and structural elements of the products in each stage of the energy industry chain is constructed,and an analysis method for the structure of the energy industry is proposed.The evolution trend of the energy industry structure in nine provinces and regions in the Yellow River basin is systematically calculated and analyzed.In terms of the system elements and boundaries of the energy industry chain,it breaks through the traditional analysis mode of a single chain.The energy industry chain is defined as a complex system through elements and logical relation identifying.Based on the input-output relationship in the energy balance sheet,the complex correlation between regional primary energy,secondary energy and intermediate products is reconstructed.Combining information entropy and other methods,a method to measure the structure of energy industry is proposed.Based on multi-source heterogeneous data sets of multi-dimensional environmental factors,energy production and consumption factors,the characteristics and evolution trends of product production and power and thermal energy consumption structure in each stage of the energy industry chain of each province and region are further calculated.(3)The analysis method of coupling relationship between system and factor from dual perspective is proposed by combining the coupling coordination model and the multi-layer complex network model.Using the method,the coupling coordination degree and resource environment elasticity between production,consumption,industrial structure,resource consumption and environmental impact in each stage of the energy industry chain were studied,and the key influencing factors were identified.On the basis of systematically combing the multi-dimensional resource and environmental impact indicators,energy production,consumption and industrial structure data of the nine provinces and regions in the Yellow River basin,the coupling coordination degree and environmental elasticity analysis model at the system level between energy production,consumption,structure,and resource consumption & environmental impact are constructed.Using this model,the coupling coordination between energy and resource environment systems and the evolution of environmental elasticity in 9 provinces and regions are calculated and analyzed,and the main problems and links in the provinces were identified.At the element level,a multi-layer coupling relationship model between production,consumption and structure of products in each stage of the energy industry chain of each province and the factors of resource consumption & environmental impact is constructed,and based on the key elements identification method,the key elements in different systems in 9 provinces were identified and extracted.Finally,based on the quantitative analysis results as well as the characteristics of horizontal spatial comparison and vertical time evolution,differentiated path policy recommendations for the coordinated development of energy industry and resource &environment in each province of the Yellow River Basin are proposed.Based on the current situation and trend of the production,consumption and structure of the energy industry chain,as well as the differences of coupling relationship with the regional resources & environment and the differences of the key factors,the coordinated development of energy industry chain and environmental protection in different provinces and regions in the Yellow River basin is proposed.
