By using code-modulation on multiple input channels, power consumption and chip area is dramatically reduced as the multiple input signals are modulated into a single path and then digitally recovered in the back-end.;The CDM technique is extended and developed for multi-channel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). By applying code-division multiplexing in conjunction with a new signal binning algorithm, we are able to reduce the overall quantization resolution compared to traditional ADC techniques while achieving the same signal-to-quantization noise ratio (SQNR). The end-result is significantly reduced power consumption. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Integrated circuits, Signal, Power consumption | | Related items |
