The 19 th National Congress of the communist Party of China proposed to raise the importance of cultural self-confidence to a new height,promote the prosperity of socialist culture,strengthen cultural confidence,and building a culturally strong country.As an important part of the cultural industry,the publishing industry has a certain theoretical reference value for the evaluation and promotion of its industrial competitiveness.It can provide a theoretical reference for the promotion of the development of the cultural industry.In practice,it can strengthen the management of publishing industry for relevant government departments and enterprises.Provide decision-making reference and further achieve cultural leapfrog development.With the transformation and upgrading of the publishing industry from traditional publishing to ferdratated media publishing,and the reform of the cultural system,the publication of the grouping business will establish a set of scientific and quantitative indicators of the competitiveness of the publishing industry,and using the designed evaluation index system to build a model,Comprehensive and systematic evaluation and empirical research on regional publishing industry competitiveness.The topic has a certain foresight.It integrates the theory of the publishing industry and the theory of competitiveness.It uses the “omnimedia”,a new format as the discusses the status quo of the regional publishing industry and the research on the cultivation model of competitiveness from the dual attributes of economy and society.From the actual point of view,analyzing the differences in the socio-economic and cultural environment between different regions,making the research of regional publishing industry competitiveness more rational,and further improve the knowledge network system of publishing industry theory,and providing the theoretical basis and experience guidance for the coordinated development of the regional publishing industry.Especially for the Jiangxi Province in the central region,although the economic level is relatively lagging behind,the publishing industry has a relatively large space for development,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.This thesis elaborates on the current status of regional publishing industry,analyzing the problems existing in traditional publishing and digital publishing,and points out the shortcomings of existing publishing industries and enterprises in terms of business models,media integration,industrial chain integration,publishing transformation and upgrading,and personnel training.Analyzed from industrial imbalances,business diversification and other industrial factors as well as economic,cultural,and consumer behavioral influence factors.SWOT analysis was used to further analyze the resource endowments and regional advantages of regional publishing industry development,The inferior position of traditional publishing because of the digital technology and the bottleneck of the digital publishing,facing with the threat of the single publishing business model and the cultural shock of the western developed countries,the needs of the user's personalized diversification,etc.Opportunity is increasing cultural soft power to national strategy.Then,using the Grey Relational Analysis and the entropy weight method,constructing a listed company's competitiveness evaluation system and calculate the relevant weights of the indicators.Analyzing the actual conditions of Phoenix publishing &Media Group,Chinese Media,and China South publishing &Media Group,in the first square of the publishing industry.The three publishing companies are the research objects and their competitiveness is evaluated in terms of profitability,development potential,operating status and solvency.In this way,theoretical analysis and empirical research on the evaluation and promotion of the regional publishing industry's competitiveness in China are conducted,and the three core competitiveness of the publishing companies in diversified,internationalized operations,new media strategies,and their transformation and upgrading in the traditional publishing industry are obtained.The integration of the traditional main business and the influence of non-relevant industries on the impact of earnings,etc.providing targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the development of the publishing industry in Jiangxi Province from the government,industry and enterprise levels,and promoting the rapid development of publishing industry in Jiangxi Province.Based on the above research significance and thinking on the evaluation of regional publishing industry competitiveness,and the analysis of the status quo of regional publishing industry,the main contents and conclusions of this study include the following aspects:Firstly,based on analysis of the expansion of the publishing industry,the changes of the industrial structure,different regional characteristics,and influence factors such as the problems faced by digital transformation,through the matrix of SWOT strategic analysis of the publishing industry competition environment in the publishing industry,summarizing the problems of traditional publishing and digital publishing that impacted by digital technology,and also summarizes the existing single publishing industry development mode problems and the corresponding strategies,such as giving full used of the advantages of resources,using capital to integrate resources,optimizing industrial structure.Secondly,analyzing the content composition of each dimension of the publishing company's competitiveness,and establishing an evaluation index system for listed companies based on profitability,development potentials,operating conditions,and solvency and corresponding twenty specific indicators,the entropy weight method is used to solve the problem of the effective measurement on the evaluation index weight for Publishing company competitiveness.At the same time,in order to avoid artificial subjective factors,the determination of the weight has not adopted the widely used expert scoring method but using the entropy weight method to calculate the weight value.According to the principle of the entropy weight method,the value of the weight not only represents the degree of importance of the index,but also the value of the weight indicates the degree of differentiation between the samples under the index.It also illustrates the analysis of the indicators with large differences between the samples,and the need for in-depth research.Finally,through the application of the weighted average method,the effective combination of Grey Relational Analysis and entropy weight method under the guidance of combined evaluation is realized.With the help of the competitiveness evaluation model,the overall competitiveness of the three publishing companies from strong to weak is reflected from China South Media,Chinese Media to Phoenix Media,and an empirical analysis is made of the influence of the development of publishing companies.Based on the results of the evaluation analysis,the weights of the indicators were clarified,emphasizing the importance of the solvency of the companies with the maximum weight on the development potential of the company and thus affecting the overall competitiveness,and providing clear direction and idea for the following measures to enhance Jiangxi publishing industry competitiveness.Thirdly,with the view of the omnimedia,through the case study of the new media strategy model of the Jiangxi publishing group which in the first square of the publishing industry,the non-relevant and diversified investment of Phoenix Media,and the case study of the international business strategy of China South Media,it was pointed out that differences in the respective core competencies of the companies: Chinese media's acquisition of elex,and the revenue gained in the publishing of new formats such as mobile games has become an important profit growth pole;Phoenix Media has used the operating income of its subordinate property and financial companies to expand the development of publish business.The development will achieve a win-win result of both profit and culture;China South Media's Tianwen Digital Media technology Company is committed to building platform advantages,providing diversified online education services,and has a great influence at home and abroad.This thesis further examine the factors that influence the competitiveness of publishing companies,such as development potential and solvency,and summarize the contents of the need to improve the competitiveness of publishing industries in Jiangxi,such as the transformation and upgrading of traditional publishing,the integration of traditional business development,and so on.Finally,the thesis combing out resilience factors of competition,such as profitability and development potential.Fourth,basing on the above qualitative and quantitative analysis results,from the four aspects of profitability,development potential,operating conditions,and solvency,according to the results of the blocking factors analysis,following the law of industrial development,emphasizing the simultaneous reform and innovation of the main business.From the four aspects of government behavior goals,deep integration of the federated media,industrial profit model,and sustainable development of enterprises,proposing the targeted path selection and countermeasures for the promotion of Jiangxi publishing industry competitiveness.1.From the perspective of government behavior,it is necessary to improve the publishing industry policy system;promote the “going out” strategy of the Jiangxi publishing industry,promoting international cultural exchanges;standardize digital publishing management standards;cultivate awareness of digital copyright protection and build a digital copyright protection system;The support of major policies has further deepened the reform of the publishing industry system.2.From the aspect of deep integration of the federated media,it is necessary to extend the federated media publishing industry chain;establish a federated media integrated database;expand readership,and create an integrated online and offline media platform.3.To optimize the industrial profit model,it is necessary to accelerate the improvement of the profit distribution mechanism of the Jiangxi publishing industry chain;provide personalized services;build a win-win mode for traditional publishing and digital publishing;cultivate publishing composite talents.4.From the perspective of corporate sustainable development,it is necessary to improve the internal operating mechanism of the company;promote brand building and exert brand effect;strengthen the main business,increasing the marketization degree of
