With the fast development of internet and information technology in this information society, the function of electronic screening tools have become more powerful, the online coverage has expanded gradually,it is a huge impact to traditional printing reading that more and more people have chosen online reading which is a convenient way of reading.Getting rid of the bound of words and pictures, enjoying the fun of multimedia, online reading brings scalability and extensibility of information.According to statistics, online reading audience(users)has extended to 6-18 juveniles, lowering of online reading, the specification of online reading information resources and the creation of healthy online reading environment, which help to promote the enrichment and development of reading theory.Users who select online reading accept the application of information technology. This study takes the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model(UTAUT)as the model framework, based on schema theory of reading,meta-cognitive theory, flow theory and other related theories, uses the literature research method, comparative analysis, expert consultation, interview analysis to determine the behavioral intention and usage behavior of seven influencing factors, attempts to construct the model of influencing factors of children online reading behavior;designs online reading questionnaires of children and their parents, which are issued for 8-12 years old elementary school students in the city, the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis have validated the effectiveness and reliability of measuring items in the questionnaires, makes comprehensively and systematically understand of the characteristics of children online reading and its inner mechanism;uses the structural equation model analysis method to excavate and analyze the influencing factors of direct and indirect effects on behavioral intention and usage behavior, and to demonstrate the rationality model;chooses the valid samples from overall samples to do cross-validation to test the stability of model;finally, analyzes and discusses the effective relationship between the factors, puts forward the developed thinking and suggests of children online reading in the future. In the thought of structuring and developing children's online reading resources, reasonable arrangements should be made to proportionate the content in text and from multimedia,to speed up the formation of abstract and logical thinking.Secondly,an online graded reading system should be reinforced to regulate commonly shared online information.Thirdly, interactive elements involving the younger audience shall be considered when new online reading materials are created to fully serve the educational and entertaining purposes. From the standpoint of community and social responsibility, the government should promote and encourage a healthy and positive attitude towards children's online reading, while proactively developing and perfecting the online platform designed for the exchange of educational resources.Necessary measurements should be taken on a national level,to guarantee and deliver high-quality digital educational resources in a consistent, systematic and scientific manner. From the perspective of(children's)libraries,it is important to provide online resources and service that satisfy the younger users, demand, and at the same time,to promote high-quality children's online reading materials that popularize the online reading activities. From an educational institution's point of view, teachersare expected to reasonably utilize online reading elements in the course of teaching to develop and improve students' cognitive ability and reading comprehension ability,in addition to involving IT software and applications to enhance teaching efficiency. From a family's point, children are encouraged to conduct online reading with parents or with other peers to achieve a virtuous circle of online reading and improve cognitive abilities. It is concluded that online reading is the beneficial complement to traditional reading, but cannot replace it.The behavioral intention is affected by subjective norm, perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness and flow experience, the perceived usefulness is the most influential factor. The usage behavior is directly affected by facilitating condition and indirectly affected by subjective norm, perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness and flow experience.Positive effects of meta-cognitive adjustment on children's reading behavior need further validation.Perceived risk of children online reading has a negative effect on children's reading intention, and has an indirect negative effect on children's usage behavior. Finally, the model has good stability.
