With the increasing of size and complexity of network, the traditional centralized management pattern could not meet requirments of network management, and the deveopment of current network management is toward distributed management pattern. As a rising distributed technology, Web Services has the broad support and application, and it also shows its promising future in network managment field. The dissertation tries to research key technologies of management of Web Services, and how to utilize Web Services to solve problems of architecture of network management. This dissertation studies the key technologies such as quality evaluation, SLA template, service process management, and pricing method, and provides network management architecture based on Web Services. Also, a prototype is designed and implemented to verify the architecture and technologies. Generally speaking, the main points and novelties of this dissertation can be summarized as follows:(1) A Fuzzy Evaluation Approach of Web Services Quality based on Tri-dimensional QoS ModelThe requirements of Web Services QoS and the limit of applicability scope of existing evaluation approach of Web Services Quality are analyzed. A tri-dimensional quality of service model of Web Services is provided, and a few key quality indexes are defined in detail. Based on the QoS model and fuzzy algorithm in fuzzy mathematics, a Web Services fuzzy quality evaluation approach is introduced, which aims to assist the quality evaluation application of Web Services in different phases of the whole lifecycle.(2) A Representation Approach of SLA Template based on Web ServicesThe problems of existing SLA template is analyzed, such as lack of general information model, ambiguity of defination of SLA element, difficult to reuse of SLA template defination and to realize SLA management flexible and automatically. A representation approach of SLA template based on Web Services is provided to solve the problems above. The information model and formal representation of SLA of Web Services are introduced, and management model of whole-lifecycle of SLA is provided.(3) SLA-based Service Process Management for Web ServicesThe limit of approaches of Web Services process management is analyzed, and a service process management method based on SLA is provided for Web Services. An extended architecture with additional roles and information of Web Services based on SLA is provided, and a service management model is introduced based on a "flow-through" vertical analytic approach of Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM) model in New Generation Operations Systems and Software (NGOSS), and then the implementation of closed-loop service process with feedback mechanism using prepared and customized services based on "full-lifecycle" horizontal analytic method is discussed.(4) A Pricing Method Supporting QoS for Web ServicesThe limit of current pricing methods of Web Services is analyzed, and then a pricing method supporting QoS for Web Services is provided. The method prices the bandwidth and QoS of multi-dimends, and adds mechanism of feedback for last service unit price. The provided method has the better balance among the technology, netwoek, user and economic, and has the important guide meaning for practical pricing method of Web Services.(5) A Network Management Architecture based on Web ServicesSince the current network management is available to support dynamic cooperation through analysis, a network management based on Web Services is provided according to the Web Services technologies and principles of technology neutral architecture (TNA) to solve the problem of dynamic cooperation between different telecom network management systems. The members of the architecture and inner mechanism are introduced.
