Visualization in Scientific Computing(ViSC for short) is a brand new field developed on the basis of computer graphics. The aim of it is to replace data output of scientific computing with visualized figure or image, that is to change the data involved or produced in computing into physical phenomenon shown as figures or images and display them hence to make the researchers be clear with the varying pattern and distribution of the phenomenon at a glance in order to liberate people from the time-consuming and fussy procedure of analysis the huge data output of computing and to shorten the research period and enhance the efficiency of research.Currently the matters and trends of research on ViSC are mainly solid visualization, flow visualization, visualized interactive, modeling of data of ViSC, fundamental of ViSC, modeling of complex shape, and visualization of complex data set based on models. In virtual instruments and signal processing software, ViSC is also an important component, and it is the important interactive window and means of parameter measuring, cursor reading and refining observation.The paper researches into the theory of computer graphics displaying, the theory and methods of ViSC and solid drawing, and the simplified algorithm and fast displaying of 2D/3D data fields with huge data; at the same time, the paper researches into software structure technology, the software architecture and its constructing mode, and Object-Oriented constructing mode and pinboard software architecture, achieves the constructing of multiple mode and extendable displaying system or indicator; the paper also researches into the mode and characteristic of ViSC in the field of virtual instruments and signal processing such as time series, oscillogram, XY graph, histogram, parameter displaying, chromatogram, waterfall graph, topographic map and special display mode like wavelet package decomposition chart and the ability to allow users to add other user-defined display mode, method and means of interactive such as single cursor, dual cursor, parametric statistic, amplification, shifting, rotating, color mapping and slice analysis, and develops a ViSC system.The aim of this paper is to research into the graphics displaying principle, modeling of visualization and the theory of interactive, and based on the knowledge of software engineering and software architecture to develop a fast extendable realtime/ non-realtime visualization system mainly used in the field of virtual instruments and...
