Software Design And Realization Of Networking Electronic Experiments System Based On Virtual Instruments

Comeing from auniversity teaching reform project,this topic aims at transplanting experiments intraditional laboratory to network platform to breakethrough the limitation ofexperimental sites and teaching classes, reducing the input of experimental teaching toimprove teaching efficiency and benefite range expanding teaching, meanwhilemaximumly retention the authenticity of the laboratory site operation and visualfeatures.For better User operating experience, the virtual instrument technology is adopted.Commonly using laboratory instrument with network interface for hardware platform,based on LabWindows/CVI software development tools and the C languageprogramming language,this topic design a set of remote teaching oriented networkelectronic experimental software system which can realize the function in electronicexperimental instruments containing a digital oscilloscope, digital multimeter, signalsource, such as virtual instrument.The network electronic experimental software system is divided into two parts.Oneis a laboratory in the server program which mainly manage the laboratory instrumentsand equipment, at the same time, it give the response from the remote client request,distributs laboratory equipment,and establish the client program with thetelecommunication connection for the experiments; The other is a client programmainly for students to remote experiment which contains the virtual experiments needto use the common instrument panel. Students can remote access to the lab experimentequipment to operate in real time for each experiment by using the mouse.At present, this software designed from this topic has been used into teaching,theteaching reform program based on also acceptance smoothly and received the affirmation of evaluation experts. the research results of this topic also lay a goodfoundation for further popularized to other universities.
