Research On The Method Of Social Network Risk Analysis In Project Governance

The research of project governance is getting wide concern from the theory and practice of industry. It's emphasized that the project stakeholder relationships between relationships is the key to the success of project governance, and treated the controlling of project stakeholder governance relationship risk as the core of project governance. But, the existing research did not form a general theory and method, which can be applied in different projects, to the analysis of project stakeholder governance relationship risk, nor proposed a unified theory and method to strategy choices to reduce project stakeholder relationship risk. So seeking a new theory and method to analysis and disposal project stakeholder governance relationship risk in project governance has the important meaning.Social network analysis mainly studies the relationship between social agents, is a set of normative and method to analyzing the social relations structure and its attributes, be regarded as new research paradigm about social relations. This method exactly accorded with the aim of the present study, therefore, this study will use social network analysis as the main analysis method on how to analyze project governance social network risk, the main contents are divided into the following three parts:The first part reviews the related research on project governance and then points out the project stakeholder relations risk is the core of project governance research, project stakeholder governance relationship is a social networks actually, can be researched from the network perspective. On this basis, the study problem is defined as how to analyze project governance social network risk, and study the issue from three aspects:building project governance social network, analyzing individual's network risks in project governance social network and coping strategies, analyzing project governance social network overall risk status and coping strategies, and according to the research approaches explicit each part of the research methods. Finally, reviews the social network analysis, stakeholder theory, risk description methods such as literature, providing theoretical support for the main part of this paper.The second part studies the entire process of project governance social network risk analysis. This section includes three aspects:(1) Analyzed the functions and features of project governance social network firstly. On this basis, in a "rolling snowball" fashion method as a guide, designed the searching process for project governance social network nodes, made the expression of project stakeholder relations network clearly. Finally, design project stakeholder relationship strength measurements index system and puts forward the calculation method of relationship strength. (2) Under the guidance of project governance structure view from network perspective, first define the connotation of ego-centric network risk, analyzes the causes of ego-centric network risk, and puts forward from individual in the network has influence and restrictions take two aspects to describe the ego-centric network risk. On this basis, design the measurement method to the influence and restrictions. Finally, from the above two dimensions defines four ego-centric network risk state, and puts forward corresponding strategies for each kind of risk state. (3) Analyzed the content of complete network risk, and points out that it's necessity from the network effectiveness and network reliability two respects inspect the complete network risk. On this basis, using information entropy theory constructs the effectiveness measurement method of project governance social network, using reliability theory as the guide to build a project governance social network reliability measure method. Finally, with improving the network density and reducing the network centralization for guiding principle, this paper put forward a general complete network risk strategies.The third part, based on project governance social network construction process and project management social network risk analysis method, selecting typical cases for application demonstration, and the final application results were analyzed and discussed. Results show that project governance social network can effectively express the relationships between project stakeholders, project governance social network analysis method can effectively analyze ego-centric network risk and complete network risk and puts forward effective strategies.This study gets the following conclusions:1. Project governance structure view from network perspective reflects characteristics of interactive, initiative, establishes the connection of individual behavior and governance structure, is a kind of interactive process which build Bridges between individual seeking rational choice and complete network restriction. Project stakeholder relationship risk is the core of project governance research; the most important attribute is manageability, closely linked with probability and extent. Analyzing from the Angle of manageability can grasp the essence of project governance relationship risk and puts forward some effective strategies.2. In the study of project governance social network construction, we found that based on process perspective recognition project stakeholder is effective, the theory can guarantee identify all project stakeholder; From the trust and commitment, collaborative relationship and contact time four dimensions to measure stakeholder relationship strength is effective; With no direction valued network diagram to showcase projects stakeholder governance relationship can grasps project governance structure.3. From the project governance social network ego-centric network risk analysis found that from two aspects, the influence and restriction, to describe ego-centric network risk is effective. With social network analysis of existing center index for guiding the design thought of the build flow intermediary center degrees can effectively express stakeholders' impact in project governance social network; Ego-centric network density can effectively express stakeholders' restriction in project governance social network.4. From the project governance social network complete network risk analysis found that, from two aspects, the validity and reliability, to analyze project governance social network complete network risk is complete. Based on the information entropy theory as the guide, from network limitation and mass effect the two dimensions of constructing social network project management effectiveness measurement method is effective, this method has a strong portability, can be used with simple network, direction network and the multi-valued network; The reliability of the network edge as basic elements of flow intermediary center degrees as weights of constructing project management social network reliability measure method is effective.The perfecting and promotion of project governance theory has important reference value to the related field research, not only has important theoretic value and practical value, but also has a broad exploring space.
