The Book of Songs can be kept down completely because of " the cantillate not only in the bamboo and silk", Compared with other ancient works, it has higher historical data value. "Ancient poem namely history, the essence of the history namely poem." Wang Yangming from Ming Dynasty with "Wujing all history";Zhang Xuecheng from Qing Dynasty with "Liujing all history", all think that including The Book of Songs, Wujing or Liujing is the code of laws for country govern of people at that time, and also they are the important material for the investigation of ancient cultural establishments system.The Book of Songs , particularly country breeze , have lots of folk songs which comes down in the folks, but the folk songs keep the crowd's various customs and habits. Paul Lafargue once said:" Blooming up like the apple trees, the folk songs are created in people'oral communication. There is even no other value, but there is very high standard history value. Through folk songs, we can rediscover the unknown crowd's customs thought and emotion, which are seldom mentioned in history. " Therefore, The Book of Songs is also the carrier of people's customs. Since The Book of Songs was born more than 2 000 years, former reputable scholars did a lot of researches on it, developing a lot of topics, such as the exegesis of ancient texts , objects'names, the sound righteousness, ethnology research , etc. about The Book of Songs .however, the research of marriage etiquette and custom in The Book of Songs is relatively weak. From early Qin Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, regardless argumentation school and textual criticism school, the purpose of researches on marriage etiquette and custom about The Book of Songs generally is for reading Jing, lacking a thorough study, so it can't become a system. After"May 4th"campaign, representative's scholars like Guo Moruo, Wen Yiduo, Gu Jigang etc. broke the limitation of tradition poem study. They adopted study methods of history , ethnology, sociology's etc. and obtained important break through in marriage etiquette and custom research in The Book of Songs from all-dimension, many angles. Early age people in Zhou in marriage process, in addition to following"Liuli", also inherit and create many ancient customs, such as Song qin,Ku jia,Nao dong fang,He jing li. The whole process presents a status of many"customs". It is also difficult to take or reject the new ideas of how to follow original standard, respect authority and personal ideas.
