Qiao "book Of Songs"

The main point of this thesis is about the study history of the Classic of the Songs of Cheng Chiao of Sung Dynasty. We concentrate our study on the discriminating the pre-south Song's study (plan wang) of Cheng Chiao's study. The history and culture background of the Classic of the Songs have disappeared into the air, so the original meaning of the Classic of the Songs, the meaning of the Chinese character of the Classic of the Songs and using meaning of the Classic of the Songs is detached, these meanings are not single meaning. Therefore when we face the Classic of the Songs now, we are confused and ashamed of ourselves for we cannot understand it properly. Cheng Chiao is a great historian and scholar of the study of the Chinese ancient Classics. His study on the Classic of the Songs will be useful in our study today.Chapter 1 is showing why I chose this subject and some antient texts problems I met when I was studying this subject. We discuss the means I adopted in my study.Chapter 2 is discussing the plan wang of Cheng Chiao. Cheng Chiao's main thought is formed by two main aspects: Songs and Characters. From the song's view, we can know the original form of the Classic of the Songs, and we can begin our study on this. From the character's view, we know how we develop our study.Chapter 3 is discussing the idealistic basic of Cheng Chiao's study. To be erudite is the dreamboat of Cheng Chiao, and is the foundation of the Cheng Chiao's study. Cheng Chiao didn't want .to face later generations shamefacedly. This told us why his study was so different with former and contemporary scholars.Chapter 4 is discussing the means of Cheng Chiao's study. This study will tell us another aspect reason why he chose plan wang as his study.In chapter 5, we are going to discover the concealed meaning in the Cheng Chiao's study. We discuss what he wanted to tell us through his plan wang.Chapter 6 is showing some problems have not solved. They are discussed by some great scholars and these problems will force me to think more deeply.
