Studies On The Technical Innovation Performance Of China’s Large And Medium-sized Industrial Enterprises

The basic premise of achieving sustainable competitiveness for corporation is innovation, while excellent innovation performance is the basic guarantee for the enterprises to achieve and sustain sustainable competitiveness. At present, large and medium-sized industrial enterprises occupy an important position in China’s industrial economy. Evaluating and analyzing the technical innovation performance of Chinese large and medium-sized industrial enterprises are necessary and urgent to clarify several problems including: current situation and features in change of technical innovation input-output,regional disparity of technical innovation input-output, allocative efficiency of regional technical innovation resources and current situation of technology innovation resources utilization. The study’s conclusion will provide foundation for national large and medium-sized industrial enterprisesin improving policy-making of technical innovation performance.Based on the qualitative method, we exert descriptive statistic method, nonparametric statistics method, panel data clustering, partial least squares(PLS) regression model analysis and improved data envelopment analysis(DEA) method in the research. With statistical data during 10 years of Chinese large and medium-sized industrial enterprises’ tech events, we make a comparatively systematic research of Chinese large and medium-sized industrial enterprises on following problems: features in change of technology innovation internal environment; variation trend and regional difference comparation of technical innovation input-output; elastic measure and analysis of technical innovation output; investment efficiency measure and utilization rate analysis of technical innovation input; technology acquisition, investment efficiency measure and its influence factor analysis, effect analysis of national technical innovation tax incentive policy. At last, based on analytical results, we study the suggestions and countermeasures in improving innovation performance of our national large and medium-sized industrial enterprises. The following conclusions are obtained:Technical innovation internal environment of Chinese large and medium-sized industrial enterprises are showing a tendency to improve as a whole, while we find out significant difference between different regions.There are obvious enhancement in technical innovation input and output, but there’s no obvious signs of reduction in difference among the East、Middle and West Area. Technical innovation of different regions basicly have a high elasticity in patent output; Economic, scientific and technical advanced areas have obvious advantage in technical innovation achievements transformation. Technical innovation fund is a key factor which influences technology innovation output. The overall level of technical innovation efficiency is relatively low. From the region’s perspective, every year there are over 60% of all the areas which have relatively inferior efficiency. The average utilization rate of technical innovation input is around 60%. Dependence on foreign technology stays high while it keeps descending now. Technology acquisition efficiency is still not high, market potential is the key factor which influences technology acquisition efficiency. National technical innovation tax incentive policy has played a positive role in technical innovation events of large and medium-sized industrial enterprises, and it plays an promoting role in enterprises’ R&D input.According to this article, it is concluded by this article that large and medium-sized industrial enterprises should combine their technical innovation activities with the level of local economic development and situation of scientific and technical resources. technical innovation style’s differntiation is a scientific choice to improve local large and medium-sized industrial enterprises’ technical innovation performance.
