Study On The Durability Of Yunnan Minority Historical Archives Based On Hand - Made Papermaking

Yunnan Minority historical archives as the obvious characteristics of the original record and strong cultural heritage, has been subject to attention and protection. The historical archives are consist of various forms, as the carrier, handmade paper carrier which accounted for the most; typically: Dongba paper files of Naxi Minority, Broussonetia papyrifera paper files of Dai Minority, Bamboo paper files of Yi Minority etc., the current research on carrier for such files is not in-depth. This thesis summarizes the composition of the Yunnan ethnic handmade paper files, on the basis of field research, introduced the status quo of papermaking in10papermaking regions of Yunnan Province; and through experimental analysis, comprehensively analyses the durability of various paper types; Proposed the protection measures for the handmade paper carrier of the historical archives; and the exploration to improving the durability of handmade paper, inheriting the national culture.This thesis is divided into seven chapters. The fist chapter introduces the point of this study is from the historical archives of the paper carrier class protection. Academia, the file protection technology is deepening, but less than the research on the handmade paper into the historical archives carrier, in particular the lack a comprehensive analysis of this type of paper material durability. Therefore, the article uses literature review, field surveys, test analysis are three ways to understand the status quo of the handmade paper files constitute, investigation of the production process of handmade paper and analyze the durability of the handmade paper; it provides new possibilities for the carrier studies on file protection technology.The second chapter studies the durability of Yunnan bamboo paper files, to understand the composition of the Yunnan bamboo paper files; through field surveys of bamboo paper production process in Chuxiong Jiudu village and Wenshan Zheka village, take fiber analysis of bamboo paper samples. Test the physical properties of bamboo paper quantitative, folding, tearing and tensile strength; explore the durability of bamboo paper.The third chapter studies of the durability of Yunnan Dongba paper files, understanding the composition of the Yunnan Dongba paper files, field surveys of Dongba paper production process in Lijiang and Diqing Baishuitai;and ordered a number of Dongba paper which improved by adding modern papermaking additives in a Bongba paper producer in Baishuitai. Made of five kinds of Dongba paper samples for fiber analysis, test the physical properties of Dongba paper quantitative, folding, tearing and tensile strength, and studied the durability of ordinary Dongba paper carrier material; Comparing the add auxiliaries material, to explore the improvement of Dongba paper.The forth chapter studies the durability of Yunnan Tibetan paper files and understand the composition profiles of the historical records of Tibetan paper, filed surveys of Tibetan paper production process and collect the local paper-making raw materials in Diqing Nixi town, Qiangduo village. Not obtained the paper durability testing due to the local paper industry as early as to the demise, but conducted a preliminary analysis of two local raw materials-Wikstroemia viridiflora Meisen and Stellera chamaejasme L. for papermaking.The fifth Chapter studies the durability of Yunnan Broussonetia papyrifera paper files, Broussonetia papyrifera paper carrier material is the main components of the historical archives of Yunnan handmade paper carrier to do and now exists as a unique writing material for some ethnic minorities; field survey in Xishuangbanna Manzhao village, Lincang Mangtuan village, Dali longzhu village, Baoshan Xinzhuang village and Qujing Mubu village5regions of local Broussonetia papyrifera paper production process, conduct a comprehensive analysis of paper samples.The sixth chapter analysis comprehensively the handmade paper production process that influence the durability of archival material, the research covers the effects on paper durability of several paper-making raw materials bamboo, Stellera chamaejasme L. Wikstroemia viridiflora Meisen and Broussonetia papyrifera, etc.; analysis the influence of adding papermaking additives or not, different papermaking process on the paper durability.The seventh chapter discusses the protection countermeasures of Yunnan Minority handmade paper file historical archives, proposed to improve the durability of handmade paper for providing the support of file protection, building up the historical archives protection system of the minority handmade paper, Carry out a census of the historical archives of handmade paper, strengthening the academic exchanges with handmade paper protection.
