Objective: Find out the shortcomings in the operation of the program by comparing the shortcomings of clinical medical professional training programs of the versions 2011 and 2016 in a medical college in Xinjiang;find the gap between the college and western benchmarking and the two top-ranking colleges and universities by comparing the clinical medical professional training programs of the college and Sichuan University;based on this,it proposes countermeasures for the further revision and improvement of the college's talent training program.Methods: Literature method: review relevant literature at home and abroad and sort out the current status of the research;comparison method: compare the training program before and after revision of a medical college in Xinjiang,and compare the revised training program with the training program of Sichuan University to find out the existing deficiency of the school and The difference between the two schools;the questionnaire survey method: conduct a cognitive survey of the current training program of a medical college student in Xinjiang to understand the effect of the training program implementation;statistical method: use Excel and SPSS21.0 software for data processing and analysis.Results:(1)Compare the talent training programs of a medical college in Xinjiang before and after the revision: the professional training targets in the version 2016 was improved on the basis of that in the version 2011;the training program of the version 2011 required 46 compulsory courses and 16 professional elective courses;the training program of the version 2016 required 52 compulsory courses and 8professional elective courses.In the training program of the version 2016,the single-subject examination is changed to the in-class quiz and the suspension test.(2)Comparison between a medical college in Xinjiang and Sichuan University: the training orientation of the university is different from that of Sichuan University;there are 52 and65 compulsory courses respectively set up by the college and Sichuan University,including 12 and 26 professional courses and 8 and 26 professional elective courses respectively;the proportions of the public course group credits in the college and Sichuan University are 33.1% and 21.3% of the total credits respectively,and the proportions of professional courses are 41.5% and 79.0% of the total credits respectively.(3)Students from a medical college in Xinjiang seriously investigated the training program: the satisfaction of the students in the training program of the college reached over 90%;the satisfaction of the overall curriculum reached more than 85%;58.9% and 49.5% of the students in the Grades 3 and 4 respectively think that the practice class is a little less;the satisfaction degree of some courses is P<0.05,and the satisfaction of students in the grades 3 and 4 is different;41.5% and 44.0% of the students in the Grades 3 and 4 feel difficult in learning the core courses.About 50% of students respectively in the two grades said that the main teaching methods were indoctrinated teaching method and problem-based teaching method;students' satisfaction with the main management work and assessment methods reached more than 80%.Conclusion: The revised training program of a medical college in Xinjiang has been improved to some extent,and the training program of the version 2016 is more satisfactory for students;however,there is still a certain gap compared with Sichuan University.It is necessary to continuously improve the talent training targeting.In addition,in the aspects of curriculum setting and practical teaching,we need to improve the teaching system to narrow the gap.
