Since 1981, Long system of Chinese medicine education has been established and developed for 18 years. Currently, There's noly a Seven-year Medical Students in the Long system of Chinese medicine education. With constantly exploring this training model has gradually developed, and it has trained a number of high-quality and high levels of professionals for the society and the Chinese medicine industry. However, with the development of education environment, the requirement for talents in market is increasing. There are some unsuitable performances in Long system of Chinese Medicine Education training model, which need to be constantly adjusted to improve. in 2004, the Beijing Education Commission set up a subject named The Research of training model of Long system of Chinese Medicine Education, in order to resolve the issue of problems. This article, is a part of this subject, analyses the main structure of objectives of the long system training model. Training objectives is the fundamental of training programs, which have a leading role to the teaching programs in the entire play. Only the clear training objectives can smooth progress of the entire training program, and make the entire training model reasonable.This paper is purpose to improve the long system of Chinese medicine education training model. In this paper, a questionnaire survey, expert interviews, comparative analysis, and objectives analysis are used to analyze the training objectives and its related factors.The first part of the article, it analyzes the characteristics of short systems, long education, and the postgraduate, distinct their differences, and identify the relative characteristics of long system, and the significance of forms of education. The long system of Chinese medicine education training model is closely set of it's education concept.The second part is the main body of this article. On the basis of the first part, it highlights the advantages and characteristics of a long-system model of Chinese medicine education model. It analyses the training objectives and an relevant factors of the current long-system model, by using the basic data of Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The research of training objectives is primarily based on the four Universities' medical training program, and it also analyses their common features and deficiencies; Then, the training objectives of the relevant factors were analyzed, including that the culture system, culture procedure and educational measurement and evaluation of three important aspects. The current training model of a long system's training objectives reflects the clear philosophy of education, training phase to achieve an organic combination of generous emphasis on basic, clinical focus, with good potential for development. However, there are still a number of shortcomings, such as the training objectives are not specific, interoperability is not strong, and because of the lack of training objectives led to other aspects of the curriculum was also due to appear reasonable, clinical lack of time, the system need to discuss issues such as teaching materials are not comprehensive. The third part of this article is discussion and recommendations, summed up the areas to be improved of the long-system model of Chinese medicine education training objectives. In the development of goals, that their classification is not clear, more generally, is not specific, not comprehensive enough, do not have a strong operational content, level of education was not obvious, the direction is not prominent characteristics, the lack of standards guiding document. Relevant elements of training objectives, the lack of independent management and human resources; professional settings, under the direction of the imperfect, the direction of the horizontal positioning is not clear, do not highlight the characteristics of professional orientation, or highlight too much, professional orientation of the name of non-standard; course system, the courses are not consistent , the direction of curriculum fewer classes; targeted materials is not strong; outdated teaching methods; culture means to be taken into account; education the lack of measurement and evaluation mechanisms. To solve these problems, this paper gives some revision proposals to the training objectives: The general requirements for training objectives. Training with the overall quality and the overall development of Chinese medicine professionals; Emphasis on capacity-building; To promote the specific training objectives and operational; Education bold and innovative ways of thinking; build complex knowledge structures; Emphasizing the characteristics in light of them own; System security, and ensure implementation; Deepening of the curriculum reform; model-oriented.Finally, following a long-system model education requirements of the development and the internal and external environment of the changing trends, refer to Western's eight-year model of education, combined with the characteristics of Chinese medicine education, bold vision of a new long-system model of Chinese medicine, that is eight-year model of Chinese medicine education training, which is the most important Creative point.
