Research On Spatial Spillover Effects Of Information Infrastructure On Manufacturing Agglomeration

With the leapfrog development of Internet information technology and the in-depth application of big data,the improvement and development of information infrastructure are becoming more and more important areas for the priority development of industrial layout.After systematically sorting out the literature related to the theory of industrial agglomeration and the theory of spatial effects,this paper uses Arc GIS software to describe the characteristics and facts of the spatial layout of China’s information infrastructure level and manufacturing agglomeration level,and then analyzes the digital society from the perspective of spatial spillover.The impact of information infrastructure construction on manufacturing agglomeration.Through mechanism analysis,it is found that the influence of information infrastructure on the spatial spillover effect of manufacturing agglomeration mainly depends on the market proximity effect,cost saving effect and technology diffusion effect brought by information infrastructure;technological innovation has a moderating effect,and technological innovation and information infrastructure The interaction mechanism of facilities can enhance the spatial spillover effect of information infrastructure on manufacturing agglomeration.And put forward three hypotheses:(1)Information infrastructure has a significant role in promoting the development of manufacturing agglomeration;(2)Information infrastructure has a significant positive spatial spillover effect on manufacturing agglomeration;(3)The improvement of the level of technological innovation will strengthen the spatial overflow of information infrastructure to manufacturing agglomeration.In the empirical analysis,based on the provincial panel data of 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities from 2006 to 2019,and on the premise of testing the spatial autocorrelation between the level of information infrastructure and the level of manufacturing agglomeration,this paper establishes a spatial Durbin panel data model and empirically the spatial spillover effects of information infrastructure on manufacturing agglomeration are investigated.The empirical results show that:(1)There is a spatial autocorrelation between the manufacturing agglomeration and the information infrastructure level at the provincial level in my country,showing significant spatial agglomeration characteristics;(2)China’s information infrastructure has a significant positive effect on manufacturing agglomeration(3)From a regional perspective,the information infrastructure in the eastern region has a significant positive spatial spillover effect on the agglomeration development of the manufacturing industry;The agglomeration development of the manufacturing industry has a negative spatial spillover effect;the spatial spillover effect of the information infrastructure in the western region on the manufacturing agglomeration is not significant.The research conclusions of this paper provide a theoretical basis for accelerating the construction of digital social information infrastructure and promoting the development of manufacturing agglomeration in my country.According to the research conclusions and practical development,this paper mainly summarizes relevant policy recommendations from the following three aspects:(1)Increase the scale and intensity of information infrastructure construction;(2)Rational layout to strengthen knowledge and technology spillover effects in agglomeration areas;(3)Give full play to the overall coordination role of the government in the construction of information infrastructure.
