Digital Transformation, Dual Network Embeddedness,and Innovation Efficiency In Manufacturing Enterprises: The Regulatory Role Of Organizational Resilience

The digital economy generated by the vigorous development of a number of emerging digital technologies such as "Cloud computing,Big data,Internet of things,Mobile network and Artificial intelligence" has become a major driving for future industrial development and an important force in building a high-quality pattern.Chinese manufacturing industry is vast,and it has a great variety of categories,but the issue of supply structure and innovation efficiency not meeting the needs of the people is still prominent.The manufacturing industry urgently needs to grasp the historical opportunity of the new generation of technology and industrial transformation with digital technology as the core,accelerate the integration of the digital economy and the substantial economy,and create a core engine for highquality economic development.Therefore,how "Industry 4.0" can better serve micro manufacturing enterprises has become a new frontier topic in the field of strategic management research.Especially in the context of the urgent need for "innovation driven development",how to allocate manufacturing enterprise resources and ensure the improvement of innovation efficiency in digital transformation has become an important issue in this cutting-edge research topic.In the context of the digital economy,manufacturing enterprises implementing digital transformation strategies need to rely on organizational characteristics and complex social networks to respond to the external dynamic environment and collect and allocate resources and information,thereby affecting the improvement of enterprise innovation efficiency.Based on social network theory,resource based theory and dynamic capability theory,using unbalanced panel data of A-share manufacturing listed companies in China from 2013 to 2021,this paper introduces dual network embeddedness as an intermediary variable and organizational resilience as an adjusting variable to construct a theoretical model,with a view to clarifying the impact mechanism between digital transformation and innovation efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.Combining theoretical analysis with empirical research,the results show that digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises can significantly improve enterprise innovation efficiency;The digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises has a positive effect on dual network embeddedness;Dual network embeddedness has a significant promoting effect on the improvement of innovation efficiency of manufacturing enterprises;This shows that dual network embeddedness plays a mediating role between the digital transformation and innovation efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.Organizational resilience positively regulates the relationship between digital transformation and dual network embeddedness in manufacturing enterprises.Finally,this article provides feasible suggestions for manufacturing enterprises to enhance organizational resilience and strengthen dual network embeddedness through digital transformation under the guidance of innovation efficiency.
