China’s manufacturing industry plays an important role in the development of national economy and is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading.However,the manufacturing industry is large but not strong,and the lack of independent innovation ability have become the key bottlenecks restricting the improvement of China’s manufacturing core competitiveness and international status,innovation development has become the general trend.In this context,manufacturing innovation has gradually become a hotspot for academic research.At the same time,with the accelerated flow of innovation resources and the continuous crossing of organizational and regional boundaries,the innovation model of manufacturing enterprises has gradually developed into a network,the innovation network embeddedness has become an important factor in the manufacturing enterprise innovation.More importantly,with the widespread application of big data,artificial intelligence and other technologies,information technology and big data have become elements of enterprise transformation and hard to give up,for manufacturing enterprises,the manufacturing industry is not only the most important application market for big data and information technology,but also the most urgent demand market.In addition,the process of enterprise network embedding produces different degrees of inter-organizational trust will have different effects.Therefore,it is worth exploring how to embed the innovation network and improve the innovation performance with the help of information and big data technologies.In view of this,this paper tries to deeply study the influence of network embedding on the innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises,and divides network embedding into relational embedding and structural embedding according to the classical classification.To reveal the mechanism of action,the paper takes digital empowerment and its three sub-dimensions(connect capability,analytic capability,intelligence capability)as mediating variables and inter-organizational trust as moderating variable,established a theoretical framework of "network embeddedness-digital empowerment-innovation performance",followed the classic research paradigm of "structure(S)-behavior(C)-performance(P)",to explore a new path in the process of network embeddedness affecting enterprise innovation performance.Through the questionnaire survey of manufacturing enterprises and the empirical analysis of SPSS22.0 and AMOS26.0,the following conclusions are drawn: firstly,relational embeddedness and structural embeddedness have positive effects on data empowerment and innovation performance.Secondly,digital empowerment and its three sub-dimensions not only effectively promote enterprise innovation,but also build a "bridge" between network embeddedness and innovation performance.Finally,inter-organizational trust has different regulatory effects on network embeddedness,digital empowerment and innovation performance,among which the regulatory effects of inter-organizational trust on structure embedding and data empowerment are not obvious enough. |
