Analysis On The Characteristics Of Economic Spatial Correlation Network And Its Influencing Factors In Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle

With the development of urbanization and regional integration,urban agglomeration has gradually become an important engine to promote the development of regional economy.China’s traditional provincial economy is gradually changing to urban agglomeration economy.In recent years,the country has paid more attention to the construction of urban agglomeration.ChengduChongqing area is a platform for the large-scale development of China’s west and a support for the Yangtze River Economic Belt,with an important strategic position,The Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle is a new growth pole of economic development that the country is currently focusing on cultivating.Studying the spatial structure of economic relevance of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle is of great significance for promoting the coordinated development of the economic circle and narrowing the economic gap between the east and the west of China.This paper combs the relevant researches and theories at home and abroad,uses the improved gravity model to measure and analyze the economic connection strength within the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle,constructs the economic spatial connection network of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle from the perspective of social network analysis,and analyzes the structural characteristics of the network at different time points from the perspectives of overall characteristics,individual centrality and plate structure,It also explores the influencing factors of the economic spatial correlation network from the aspects of industrial structure,urbanization level,resource concentration and diffusion capacity by using the QAP analysis method suitable for the research of relational data.The research finds that:(1)The Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle has a stable performance with good momentum for growth,but there are defects of large internal gap and unbalanced regional economic development;(2)The economic spatial connection network of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle is characterized by two cores,showing a core-edge model,and the network structure still has a large space for optimization;(3)The formation of the economic spatial connection network of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle is driven by a variety of factors,including geographical location,industrial structure,urbanization level,resource concentration and diffusion capacity,opening up level and government intervention.Finally,based on the above conclusions,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to strengthen the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.First,give full play to the leading role of core cities to provide impetus for the development of the economic circle.Second,promote the coordinated development of the economic circle,optimize the spatial correlation structure of the economy.Third,actively promote the development of the same city and improve the cross regional coordination mechanism.
