| The development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle with "dual core" has undertaken the historical mission of leading the high-quality development of the west and even the whole country at the present time.The main axis plays a particularly important role while facing urgent challenges for lacking of economic efficiency and resource allocation capacity,which limits its radiation.Firstly,this paper makes a descriptive analysis of the main axis,finding that in the tough period of transition,the marginal efficiency of capital decreases,the economic reform falls into realistic dilemma,and the spatial pattern has be in a plight of "central collapse".Then with a general analysis in regional development,this paper finds that there are endogenous factors affecting economic efficiency in the operation of the product market,the labor market and the financial market.In addition,pollution is another factor affecting economic efficiency.Secondly,based on the panel data,this paper analyzes the changes of economic efficiency and the main influencing mechanisms with the support of significant positive spatial correlation,and finally finds out that the income level,economic structure optimization,and the level of technology and education could positively promote the accelerated growth of economic efficiency,while the openness would not.Finally,based on the preceding analyses,this paper puts forward a series of governance measures and suggestions,including enhancing the ability of factor attraction to ensure the efficient transformation of industry,promoting diffusion and restraining backflow to break the "central collapse",and improving the quality of economic opening up to maintain the dynamic efficiency of capital. |
