| In the context of the globalization of international trade and the prevalence of the Internet,cross-border e-commerce has gradually become the main form of international trade and one of the main reasons for the rapid development of international trade in China.Compared with traditional bulk commodities,cross-border e-commerce has its superiority and can inject fresh blood into China’s economic development. However,at the same time, countries with cumbersome customs procedures, infrastructure is not perfect,e-commerce technology content is not high and other problems have long plagued the development of cross-border trade. For this reason, the study of trade facilitation is conducted, which has certain practical significance for promoting the development of cross-border e-commerce in China.Cross-border e-commerce as a new trade mode, domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of research on it,but at the same time, the perspective of its research is very different, and the focus of different scholars also differs, the article based on the trade facilitation perspective,in this regard,to make a positive addition. This paper establishes the trade facilitation index system based on Wilson’s theoretical research with reasonable additions, and calculates the trade facilitation scores of RCEP member countries based on this system using principal component analysis. In the empirical part of this paper, the calculated trade facilitation level of each country is used as the core explanatory variable, while other influencing factors are added as control variables to enrich the model. After the overall regression, the degree of influence of the four primary indicators on the international competitiveness of China’s cross-border e-commerce is also analyzed,as well as the regression test is conducted again by dividing developed and developing countries, and a more comprehensive conclusion is drawn on the influence of trade facilitation level on China’s The impact of cross-border e-commerce international competitiveness. From the results of empirical analysis,it can be seen that the degree of trade facilitation of RCEP member countries has a significant impact on the international competitiveness of China’s cross-border e-commerce,and the degree of trade facilitation development of different countries also has a great difference on the international competitiveness of China’s cross-border e-commerce.The regulatory environment of importing countries has the greatest degree of influence on the international competitiveness of China’s cross-border e-commerce,and the efficiency of ports plays the smallest role;the degree of influence of developed countries is better than that of developing countries, and attention should be paid to the regulatory environment of developed countries and the level of e-commerce of developing countries. In addition, some emerging markets trade facilitation level is not high but rapid development, with great trade potential,China should actively establish and improve the relevant regulations, strengthen bilateral cooperation with major importing countries, looking for new development momentum. |
