Since the emergence of e-commerce,it has rapidly seized the market by virtue of it’s convenient and fast characteristics. It not only provides convenience for people’s life, but also promotes economic development. At the same time, the development of traditional transnational trade is constrained by trade barriers, transport conditions, trade environment and other factors.People began to turn their attention to the use of e-commerce to break through the limitations of traditional transnational trade. In 2008,the financial crisis triggered by the subprime mortgage crisis swept across the globe.Countless well-known big companies went bankrupt.E-commerce seized the opportunity to come to the fore and occupied an increasingly important position in international trade. The development of cross-border e-commerce is gratifying, but more and more trade inefficiency hinders its development.Although the convenience of e-commerce is already strong,it will still be cumbersome for customs clearance and high tariff restrictions. In this situation, people began to look for obstacles to the development of cross-border e-commerce.From the perspective of trade facilitation, this thesis explores the impact of trade facilitation in other countries on Chinese cross-border e-commerce exports.First of all, this thesis combs the research of domestic and foreign scholars on the trade facilitation assessment system and finds that the existing literature in this respect is based on the development of the first trade facilitation assessment system index proposed by Willis of the World Bank in 2005.This thesis combines the theoretical analysis of the impact factors of cross-border e-commerce,and uses analytic hierarchy process to establish an innovative trade facilitation assessment system, increase cross-border e-commerce related factors and make targeted changes in weight distribution. Then, when studying the cross-border e-commerce literature,we found that although there are many studies on cross-border e-commerce domestic and abroad, most of them are qualitative analysis of the actual situation of a company or a certain region, and lack of research on macro-national factors of cross-border E-commerce.This thesis counts data between 2011 and 2016 on Chinese cross-border e-commerce exports from 30 countries in five continents that have close trade ties with China. The interpretation of variables are based on the level of trade facilitation in other countries. The population, income per head, and FDI as control variables, returns the data of the 30 countries through a linear model to examine the impact of trade facilitation change on the cross-border e-commerce exports. The analysis results of this thesis show that Chinese cross-border e-commerce exports are positively correlated with the level of foreign trade facilitation and are also related to the population and per capita income.Based on the above conclusions, relevant suggestions for improvement are made in a targeted manner to facilitate the optimal allocation of resources. With the help of the various indicators of the trade facilitation assessment system, the cross-border e-commerce export capability is purposefully enhanced.
