Study On The Spatiotemporal Pattern And Influencing Factors Of The Evolution Of Agricultural Industrial Structure In Guizhou Province

The upgrading and adjustment of agricultural industrial structure is an inevitable requirement for achieving high-quality agricultural development,an internal driving force for promoting the revitalization of rural industries,and an effective way to ensure national food security.The research on the evolution of agricultural industrial structure and its influencing factors is related to the effective guarantee of national food security,how to effectively consolidate poverty alleviation achievements,and how to steadily promote the implementation of rural revitalization.The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy is a major decision and deployment made at the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,a major historical task for achieving the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and building a socialist modernized country in all respects,and a key to the work of agriculture,rural areas,and farmers in the new era.Therefore,the study of the spatiotemporal pattern and influencing factors of the evolution of the agricultural industrial structure in Guizhou Province from 2002 to 2021 can not only better understand the evolution rules of the regional agricultural industrial structure,but also have extremely important theoretical and practical significance for the development of the agricultural economy in Guizhou Province and even the whole country in the new era.This article first analyzes the overall evolution of Guizhou’s agricultural industrial structure,then reviews the evolution process of Guizhou’s agricultural industrial structure since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,and summarizes the sectoral characteristics of its agricultural industrial structure evolution.Then analyze the overall evolution of the agricultural industry structure and the internal structure of the agricultural sector in various cities(prefectures)of Guizhou Province.Finally,based on the agricultural development process in Guizhou Province from 2002 to 2021,this paper analyzes the impact of factors such as agricultural resource conditions,economic and social development levels,market demand,and agricultural production and operation conditions on the agricultural industrial structure,and selects variables from them and constructs a model for empirical testing.Main conclusions:(1)According to relevant data since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the agricultural industrial structure in Guizhou Province has undergone significant changes,with the structure of food and cash crops constantly changing.The overall output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry,and fishery has shown an upward trend,and the proportion of animal husbandry in the total agricultural output value has increased year by year.In this process,the agricultural industrial structure of Guizhou Province has successively experienced four stages: "tortuous change","stable change","obvious change",and "slow development".(2)From 1978 to now,the main characteristics of the agricultural industrial structure in Guizhou Province are: the output value of the primary industry has increased significantly,while the employment force in the primary industry has decreased;The structure of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry,and fisheries has not fundamentally changed significantly;There is a trend of decreasing grain production and a significant increase in cash crop production;Transferring the planting area of food crops to other agricultural industries;The per capita disposable income of rural permanent residents has increased rapidly.In addition,the "twenty eighth phenomenon" in the agricultural industrial structure,the absence of obvious zoning in the adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure,and the decline in the competitiveness of characteristic industries are also some of the problems that exist.(3)The agricultural industrial structure in Guizhou Province is seriously converging,with agriculture>animal husbandry>forestry>fishery in all cities(prefectures),with agriculture and animal husbandry accounting for more than 90% of the total in all cities(prefectures),while the sum of the forestry and fishery sectors is less than 5%.(4)From the empirical analysis of the factors influencing the evolution of agricultural industrial structure in Guizhou Province,it can be concluded that the factors that have an important impact on the evolution of agricultural industrial structure include technology,labor,capital investment,land resources,and ecological environment.Based on this,the following suggestions are proposed:(1)Carry out strategic planning for the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure;(2)Making reasonable planning for the division of agricultural industrial structure adjustment based on the characteristics of regional resources;(3)Adjusting the agricultural industrial structure in line with market demand;(4)Promoting the extension of the agricultural industrial chain;(5)Carry out agricultural production on the basis of sustainable development.
