A Study On The Supply Of Rural Elderly Care Services

As a large agricultural country,China has a large number of elderly in rural areas.The problem of rural elderly care is also directly related to the stability of our society and the sustainable development of our economy.To this end,both the central and local governments are paying more and more attention to the problem of rural elderly care,and promoting the supply of various elderly care services to solve the problem.However,as the supply of rural elderly care services is still in its infancy,local governments face many challenges.In this regard,local governments have tried to solve the problem of insufficient supply through the joint participation of the market and society.However,due to the lack of corresponding institutional guarantee and policy support,the phenomenon of insufficient development motivation and low enthusiasm of the supply unit emerged.In the face of the drawbacks of the rural elderly care service supply system,we can try to build a "one core and multiple" elderly care service supply network system with the government as the core,the market as the main body,and non-governmental organizations and families as the support,which can not only meet the demand for rural elderly care service supply,but also provide more support for building a harmonious rural society.Based on this,this article uses methods such as literature research,case analysis,interviews,and questionnaire surveys to study the supply of elderly care services in Z City,Shanxi Province.The article collected a large amount of relevant theoretical knowledge on the supply of rural elderly care services through the use of literature research method,laying a theoretical foundation for the writing of the article;At the same time,the article uses case analysis,interview,and questionnaire survey methods,taking Z city as an example,to conduct interviews and surveys on staff and rural elderly people respectively;On this basis,the article analyzes the problems in the supply of rural elderly care services in Z city,including five aspects: narrow policy coverage,incomplete medical insurance system,insufficient construction of elderly care institutions,lagging development of community mutual assistance,and low willingness to choose elderly care institutions.Based on the existing problems,the reasons for the problems are analyzed.Finally,based on the current situation,existing problems,and reasons of the supply of rural elderly care services in Z city,combined with public service theory and meta governance theory,from emphasizing economic development and policy coverage,improving the medical security system and smart elderly care platforms,emphasizing service supervision and non-governmental organization participation,strengthening innovation and exploration of new models of elderly care services Strengthening the promotion of filial piety culture and the development of the aging industry has proposed the establishment of a "one yuan,multi core" elderly care service supply network system with the government as the guide,the market as the main body,communities and non-governmental organizations as supplements,and families as support.As the top priority of China’s overall development in society,economy and culture,the supply of rural elderly care services has become the emphasis of the central and local governments.Through the analysis of this article,to some extent,it is expected to have practical significance for Z City of Shanxi province in the supply of elderly care services,and to have something referential value for other regions in China in the improvement of rural management.
