Knowledge Transfer,Dynamic Capabilities And Digital Transformation

Digital transformation is an effective way for enterprises to cope with the digital economy era.More and more enterprises are actively exploring the path of digital transformation.The high failure rate and necessity of enterprise digital transformation make the academia and industry focus on the effective path of enterprise digital transformation.The main challenge faced by enterprises is the lack of relevant knowledge and capabilities,as well as the balanced use and acquisition of resources and capabilities.On the one hand,knowledge is necessary for understanding and formulating new business models,investing in digital technology products or services and how to use them.Knowledge transfer is closely related to digital transformation;On the other hand,digital technology has accelerated the pace of change,and environmental uncertainty has greatly increased.Enterprises with rich knowledge can cultivate their dynamic capabilities to perceive new digital opportunities and external environmental risks,and integrate and reconfigure knowledge resources and capabilities.In response to the above problems,this study combed the relevant literature on knowledge transfer,dynamic capabilities and digital transformation,built a theoretical model of "knowledge transfer-dynamic capabilities-digital transformation",deeply explored how knowledge transfer affects digital transformation,and verified the important role of dynamic capabilities in this process,thus revealing how knowledge transfer effectively promotes enterprises to realize digital transformation.This paper uses the questionnaire method to distribute questionnaires,collect data,and obtain the data needed for empirical research.The structural equation model method is used to conduct confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis test on the formal survey data.This empirical study shows that:(1)knowledge transfer has a significant positive impact on the digital transformation of enterprises;(2)Knowledge transfer has a significant positive impact on perception ability,capture ability and reconstruction ability;(3)Perception ability,capture ability and reconstruction ability have a significant positive impact on enterprise digital transformation;(4)Perception ability,capture ability and reconstruction ability play a partial mediating role between knowledge transfer and digital transformation.This paper creatively puts knowledge transfer and digital transformation under one model to carry out research,complements and expands the relevant theoretical research on the path of digital transformation,and introduces dynamic capabilities into the path of knowledge transfer’s impact on digital transformation,which enriches the relevant research on dynamic capabilities in the context of digital transformation.The research conclusions of this paper provide theoretical guidance and management inspiration for Chinese enterprises to promote digital transformation by cultivating and improving dynamic capabilities through knowledge transfer.
