In the 21 st century,China’s economic and social development is in an important period of strategic opportunities but also facing various risks and challenges.China’s economic development has shifted from a stage of extensive high-speed growth to a stage of high-quality development,economic globalization has encountered the countercurrent of unilateral trade protectionism,and the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 have brought many uncertainties to the business development environment.Facing the severe and complex situation at home and abroad,China’s traditional manufacturing enterprises can no longer take cheap labor and low manufacturing cost as their competitive advantages.They need to deeply understand and grasp the basic characteristics of this new era,and take practical and effective measures to improve their core competitiveness,so as to achieve long-term development.JM company,one of the leading sanitary ware enterprises in FJ province,is also the same.Facing new opportunities and challenges,it is necessary to think positively,have a deep understanding of its own advantages and disadvantages in development,and explore new ways to enhance its core competitiveness,so as to constantly promote the sustainable and healthy development of the domestic sanitary ware industry.This study takes JM Company as an example to comprehensively collect the data related to the company’s growth and development.Based on the practice of core competitiveness,relevant theoretical basis and internal and external environment analysis,Using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to construct the evaluation index system of JM’s core competitiveness in six aspects,such as product and market,R&D innovation,human resources,strategic management,operation management and social responsibility,and conduct self-evaluation.At the same time,through horizontal comparative analysis with domestic and foreign brand competitors Huida and Toto,It is concluded that the company core competitive ability in product and market,research and development advantages and problems of innovation ability,strategic management ability of the brand influence is limited to the domestic market,product sales model,the traditional after-sales service quality is difficult to control,research and development innovation product industrialization level is not high,staff training and loyalty is not enough.Finally,in combination with the practical situation of JM daily operation,this paper puts forward how to enhance the brand international influence,attaches great importance to the product design service,innovation,product sales mode,giving full play to the advantages of the industrial chain integration joint research and development products,build the production system,perfecting the talents cultivation mechanism and care staff and other measures to further foster ascension JM company core competitiveness,for the enterprises to go global,Make suggestions and suggestions for realizing long-term and healthy development.
