At present,the development of the IT industry is quite mature,and the competition among manufacturers tends to be white-hot.With the development of network information technology,end customers are more and more sensitive to price,and manufacturers also hope to shorten the length of the supply chain to win more end customers,the competition among distributors has become more and more intense.After three years of epidemic,economic downturn and market depression,traditional IT distributors are facing unprecedented challenges.IT distributors as a bridge between manufacturers and downstream agents.It is the distributor’s duty to establish a quality product operation path for manufacturers.Projectbased products have complex product configuration,different customer needs,a wide range of products,long cycle time,etc.These characteristics lead to the formation of products with high risk of stagnant materials,low degree of project management refinement,and high risk of long receivable cycle.In the process of product operation,there are inevitably some uncertain risk factors that may lead to management problems,which may result in cost exceeding the budget,or negatively affect the company’s credibility,resulting in a huge economic loss.In order to avoid the occurrence of such risks,reduce costs and increase efficiency,product operation risk management is particularly important.This study takes the IT distribution industry as the background.Firstly,combined with the current situation of product operation and management of IT distributor S,the risks are initially classified into six types of risks:external risk,cost risk,supply chain risk,organisational risk,channel risk and data risk.Then using the Delphi method,after three rounds of expert opinion solicitation,systematically identify the risks in the distributor’s product operations,identify 27 risks,and output a list of risks.Secondly,the risk level is initially classified using the qualitative analysis method of risk probability-impact matrix,and then the quantitative analysis method is used to construct a risk assessment hierarchy model to assess and rank the risks.Lastly,the four major risks and eleven high-risks are analysed in accordance with the risk level focus to determine the measures to deal with the risk,and it is also found that the channel risks are risk occurrence probability and consequences are more serious,therefore,while proposing countermeasures,it proposes optimisation suggestions for monitoring strategies.The results of this research have a certain guiding effect on improving the current situation of risk management of S Company’s product operations,and also have a certain reference significance for other distributors in the IT distribution industry. |
