Global Product R&d Project Risk Management Study Audi A6 Cluster Localization R&d Project

In this paper, we take the Audi C6 cluster local development program which lead by Guangzhou Magnet Marelli Instrument as a sample to study the project management of new product research and design program. The key point is to study the project risk management during the whole project lifecycle for auto parts:risk management planning, risk identification, risk analysis, risk response planning and risk monitor and control.As we know, the project is a temporary undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. That's mean we don't have any current experiences and operation models can be taken as reference, so we have to face the project risk management. In partly, we can separate the risk management into two different types: the risk management before it happens and the risk management after it happen. As usually, we prefer the risk management before it happen considering the consequence or reduce the risk management cost. In this way, we can lowest the cost, loss and influence to the project itself. Project risk management flow is as usually defined as below. First risk management planning, then risk identification, then risk analysis, then risk response planning and the finally risk monitor and control.?Firstly, we make the risk management planning for Audi C6 cluster local development program, including the risk from quality field, technical field, management field, and so on. In this stage we can set up the risk management goal and scope which is very important input for risk management planning definition.?Secondly, do the risk identification to get the risks list base on the risk management planning definition.Thirdly, do the risk analysis base on the risk list we got. Risk analysis has two different types: quantitative risk analysis and qualitative risk analysis. The purpose is to find the key or important risks as input for the risk monitor and control.Finally, base on the result from the risk management planning, risk management identification and risk analysis make the risk monitor and control plan and then execute it accordingly.
