Research On Guangxi Land Reform(1950-1954)

The Guangxi Land Reform Movement in the early founding of the People’s Republic of China was the most profound economic,social,and political change in the rural experience of Guangxi.The thesis is based on Guangxi Land Reform.The literature research method,data statistical analysis method,and regional comparison and case research method are adopted.It also demonstrates the necessity of land reform from the aspects of eliminating the inequality of land occupation,consolidating the new people’s regime,and the elimination of clan contradictions.Comprehensively and objectively analyzed the land reform campaign,on the basis of overthrowing the ownership of the land landlord and the implementation of farmers’ land ownership.The great results achieved in hatred,as well as the actual situation of the lack of mobilization in the land reform and the weak quality of the cadres of the land reform,the method has been effectively resolved.Finally,the land reform of Guangxi was summarized under the perspective of the country.In terms of social structure,the position of the feudal ancestral law system in rural society was replaced by the Communist Party’s grass-roots organizations and farmers’ associations,and farmers became the subject of power.In terms of ideology,through complaints and dividing the class,farmers and the country closely linked the country and built the peasant’s national concept and power awareness.Therefore,the recognition of the peasants and the people’s governments has greatly improved,actively responding to the party’s policy and decree,and consciously participating in national construction.Land reforms destroy the economic foundation of the Kuomintang and the landlord class to provoke ethnic contradictions,improve the ethnic contradictions left by history,and establish a new type of ethnic relationship of equal,unity and mutual assistance.Study on the land reform of Guangxi in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China is of great significance for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy today.
